So, Force India most consistent Benz-powered team?
-
• #3503
Consistency doesn't mean a whole lot when you have a third of the points! I think Mercedes are actually doing incredibly well this season, it'll be interesting whether they will lose out in terms of performance due to missing the upcoming test.

See above. How do you beat you team mate if not by scoring more points?
I know what you mean, but who do you think is happier - Hamilton accumulating points in most races but hardly ever looking like winning, or Rosberg having a more mixed season but with two wins?

What are Di Resta & Chiltern like? Di Resta seems fine, not sure if I've seen Chiltern interviewed...
I've heard from a friend of a friend of an acquaintance of a lamp post, that Di Resta is a miserable git and most of the force india factory don't like him.
This surprised me.

Di Resta => sociable Murrayface.

Not entirely unsurprising given that he's blamed the team for a few mistakes making it seem that he and the team are two seperate entities.

Susie Wolff says she's good enough for an F1 drive. She says this after showing that she is slower in the same F1 car as an F3 driver, and nowhere near the speed of Maldonado's test. Apparently, to her, being 0.4 seconds off on a lap, is pretty ok.
Is she serious? Really?

Whether or not she gets a drive will not come down to her talent, it will come down to her husband's wallet. Her husband being a director of MB motorsport and a shareholder in the Williams team.

Vettel said: "There wasn't much missing, so Lewis did a good job, put a strong lap in."
*
"I was pretty happy with both laps. I was losing out a little in the middle sector; maybe I wasn't aggressive enough. But in the end I was happy with my lap but it was just not quick enough."Lewis did a good job as you can see from the gap to Nico, you have to respect that." *

I wish Vettel would stop talking out of his harris, everybody knows that Lewis is a moron that should stop having ridiculous celebrity girlfriends and friends, and external music career interests. Why on earth Alonso, Button and Vettel give Lewis praise for his driving is beyond me. They should join this forum and start agreeing with the anti-Lewis sentiments that are so trendy here.
And Vettel, NO, we don't have to respect that at all. It is Lewis Hamilton we're talking about, so respecting him is absurd. Join the crowd mate. Join the crowd.

I don't think there is any shortage of respect for what Lewis can do in a car- that's beyond question.
What is questionable is his focus, and his motivation to actually drive the car as we know he can.
From his qualifying performance for the Hungarian GP he's either rediscovered that focus, or Mercedes have put magic tyres on his car.

A third of a second faster than Nico Rosberg. And I think ALL observers said that Red Bull definitely had the fastest car this weekend.

Tyres with magnets in?

It's all about race pace though, at the end of the day

Meh.
Grosjean's gonna win!
-

Just needs to make sure he gets that floor damaged as early in the race as possible ;)

Excellent drive by Kimi. As for Lewis, I think he owes Jenson a few quid for the way Jenson kept Vettel behind. And I'd never thought Grosjean would have beaten Kimi, and so it proved.

Just watched the full race on Sky+. Damn good race!
Gutted Grosjean got a drive through for overtaking Massa in what I thought was an incredible move round the outside, didn't think he went even all the way off the tack so was that penalty a bit harsh(?)
Anyway Kimi is a Legend and keeps on showing it! Awesome drive and so good to hold off Vettel in the closing laps, now up to 2nd place in the WDC! Nice one.Oh and Well done to Lewis. Maybe he can celebrate by singing an RnB song to his ex...

Oh and Well done to Lewis. Maybe he can celebrate by singing an RnB song to his ex...And that pathetic backhanded compliment has sailed into the lead and has taken pole position!
That's not whining.
