I saw this on the news this morning- I feel very sorry for Kubica, in the modern cars you don't expect to hear about such nasty injuries.

I hope he makes a full recovery.

To be honest, if I had a drive in an F1 car, I wouldn't go rallying in my spare time.

Good on him for having the balls to do it though, in modern F1 the drivers are usually stopped from doing anything even moderately dangerous, even cycling (in Webber's case). Back in the good 'ol days drivers would try their hand at pretty much any form of motorsport, it's a shame that's no longer the case.

I only watched F1 because of Kubica. I don't care anymore, to be honest.
