Watched qualifying and the race, not great at all.
Interesting crashes, and tyre losses but that was it. Nice use of team orders though.

Quite a few people I have chatted with didn't seem to enjoy it, it wasn't the most exciting race but it was far from dull for me. You're not referring to McLaren with the team orders bit are you? I'm far from a McLaren fan but you could hear and see Hamilton having problems exiting the chicane and hairpin.

I'm with mmccarthy. Alonso and Hamilton may well hate each other, but I saw an interview with Lewis where he praised Alonso as the best racer out there, and his favoured rival he always wants to beat. Him and Lewis are just raw, balls out, giving it the nails all the time. If Lewis can't take it, then anybody but Button for me. He's insufferably cheesy - that 'Monaco baby, yeah' line on the radio transmission when he won there last year - leave off. Missed yesterday's race though.

This weekend is going to be a very very good one for the neutrals I think. There will be havoc off the start all the way up to turn 4.

Track is looking very loose and dirty at the moment, the run into pits looks terrible to, they need indicatorts to avoid taking each other out when turning in. Should be an interesting race. Come on Webber

How did that happen?

A bit of good tactics, and a lot of skill. 1.1 seconds, damn.

Good on the guy, I guess he just had a heck of a lot of confidence in that car and lit up his tyres. Huge congratulations to him.
-
• #1816
Absolutely. He properly nailed it.

• #1817
God Almightly. Mind you, what are the overtaking possibilities at Interlagos?
-
• #1818
Pretty damn good, especially into turn 1.
Not to take anything away from the Hulk, but i'm fairly sure he's running a more wet-oriented setup than the other guys who played it safe as it's gonna be dry tomorrow, time will tell I guess.

Fingers are so crossed for anyone other than that cock Alonso.
-
• #1820
Best driver on the grid by some margin imo.

never thought i'd post on here but having just listened to Bernie ecclestone i have to ask you guys what kind of a twat is this bloke? always saw him on tv and suspected he suffered from short ugly man syndrome but what he just said in response to the Button incident was stupifying beyond belief.

@mmcarthy What's Lewis doing wearing a Ferrari kit and 'Nando's helmet?
-
• #1823
Best driver on the grid by some margin imo.
So he reckons he has a 100% chance of winning.......
SMUG BASTARD! For that, i hope he doesn't!!!He's a arrrogantknobjockey i tell eey ;-)

• #1824
He's got the charisma of a toothbrush.

Hamilton might be the best to watch, but in terms of an all-rounded driver Alonso can't be touched. Smug? You mean confident, like Senna and Schumacher. All utterly ruthless, and out for themselves, it what makes a great driver.
Jim Clark is an exception of course.
I want Alonso to win it as to me, he's the best racer there. In terms of actual racing, him and Hamilton are in a class of their own. Though Alonso doesn't seem to bin it as much as Hamilton. If Alonso doesn't get it i'd like Webber to. Vettel will be world champion in the future, I don't think anyone would bet against that but time is running out for Webber.
