I have sent the editor a curt e-mail.
But what are the rules about using stuff from a public Flickr group? (The pics were taken from the Hardcourt group). Seems like no one involved in that group was consulted first.

Doesn't flickr have an option where you can set permissions for each photo and state what rights you want to give away.

The image owner defines the rights for their own photos upon upload. All rights reserved, creative commons, etc.

I need to look in to this. Even so it would have been a basic courtesy for them to ask or at least let us know they were using them.
