air miles to karlsruhe i thought? early feb 2010

joni, damon has his new bike indeed.. looks the same as his other one. still has the sweeper head..

  • i love that little yellow bike too.. in fact i shall ride it today!

  • joni, damon has his new bike indeed.. looks the same as his other one.

Oh, is that a whoops? I had a 'discussion' with the guy who builds them, forget his name, but he reckons there's no need for a curved seat tube because a frame built for 26" wheels will have the seat over the rear wheel enough. I gather he's alone in his thinking?

  • Probably depends on what tyre size you're intending to use. Maybe necessary if you want balloon tyres, but the Joust doesn't have one, and manages a 370mm chainstay length.

  • This

  • ^yup that's the new one. to me it looks really similar to his other one. scott built both however, so i think that's a fair call.

damon wasn't so used to it in the bench minor, because it was his very first time playing on it.. leigh had sunstroke and jono knew all ali's moves.. they had nothing...

  • :p
