This is really not appropriate for lfgss, especially for this section of the forum. Cut it out.

Cool
Sorry we had to raise the issue here. I had tried to tackle the muppet on it elsewhere as I don't think here is an appropriate venue for such debate.

Good, it was right at the top of the page too. Next time this kind of thing can be dealt with without such a drawn out kerfuffle.

No worries. Keep it super cool out there!

OK, it's a trike, not a bike, but it's certainly pretty neat:

I'd also missed that she's done things on two wheels, too, like riding along the length of Lake Baikal when it was frozen over.

Popped into my lbs over the weekend, saw a pugsley on the stand.
Custom front micro gear cog, unbelievably well used.
Asked who's it was, they said the owner was a lady in her 40-50s who uses it to do the http://iditarodtrailinvitational.com/
I thought it was awesometastic. Training method- ride across the farmers fields into Nottingham each day 25miles.
Whoever you are, you're my new hero.(also my understanding is maybe our Miss Chappell is riding at some point?)

It's a strangely unknown sport outside the few Central European countries where it's done, e.g. Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, etc.
The most-reposted video a few years ago was of these two multiple world champions:

I think most of the links in the thread above are dead, but if you search for their names, you'll find a few rather good performances. :)
