Whats with pets passing away this week :(

Just got the worst phone call ever.... my Mum telling my dog has died as of this morning.
She was 11yrs old, her name was Babuxa. She was the love of our family....

Was thinking about this last night, is the cat still around? Chances are it will be chipped - I'd get it to a vet and have them scan it, will hopefully have the owners details. You can sometimes feel the chips, they feel like a grain of rice under the skin in between the shoulder blades.

There's a beautiful but very obviously lost/stray abyssinian cat that was outside my house when I got back to london last night. I said hello while i locked my bike and then nipped out to get some milk/cereal. He followed me for a bit then was there waiting when I returned. Still there in the morning!! :(
