:-) Glad you like them!
They're really sweet cats, and they're really keen on each other...Sometimes I feel a bit like a gooseberry in my own home... heh heh -

Love Greyhounds, a family friend adopted two ex racers as well. Do yours just sprint round the park for 10 minutes and knacker themselves straight away?

Still teaching them recall so they are only allowed off the lead in secure (ie 6foot fence) areas :(
But yeah then they tear around like mentalists for 10mins and are completely knackered. I had at calebs race results - think he managed a 500m track in 30.8secs (standing start obviously) - so yeah they are pretty quick!
The rest of the day consists of sleeping (at least 18hrs a day) and eating - they eat like they have never been fed - Caleb basically inhales his food so we have to put big inedible objects in his bowl for him to eat round. They are also massive theives - they wont steal anything while you are there, but as soon as you leave they will have their paws up on the counter and be away with ANY food (Caleb even has a fondness for clean wooden spatulas, which he takes to bed and destroys). They are lovely dogs, soo chilled out and friendly.
If anyone is thinking about getting a dog - think about adopting an ex-racer as there are so many out there that need homes :( -

Ours came from http://www.grwe.com/ - they are not just West of England anymore - they do pretty much the whole of the UK I think now.
Masses of other smaller Greyhound rescue charities as well as there are so many needing homes.
Couple of forums with lots of useful Greyhound info here: http://thehoundlounge.proboards.com/index.cgi and here: http://greyhoundgap.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=search

He ain't, haha. When he manages to find something, he grabs on and won't let go.
He's teething at the moment.
Puppy classes for him next week though. -

My mischievous but normally charming jack russell can not help himself when he sees a cat to chase. Pretty normal behaviour for this breed and usually, well always until now, the cat outwits him with ease.
Tonight he caught a cat in the garden and really got a hold of it. I heard the comotion and pulled the dog off the cat. The cat was in a bad way, no blood but in shock big time and not moving. Called the RSPCA then got a call from the local vet and took the cat to the surgery.
The cat's back legs were paralysed and one of them was broken. It had no microchip so I had to sign the consent form for it to be euthanised. Dark times.
My wife is pregnant with our first child and now feels she could not trust him with a baby in the house so wants to try to rehome him. I think he'll be cool, he knows the difference between a human infant and a prey animal but it's a hell of a call to make if it's the wrong one. :(

I say see how he acts around the child. If you are not 100% happy then it just isn't worth the risk. My parents had a dog that tried to eat me when I was a baby so they had to get rid of it.

the dog is part of a pack with you as the alpha male, it should see your baby as part of that pack too. if anything it will be protective towards the baby. tough call to make though.
jessberry your kitties are super cute! the grey one looks like a leopard. awesome!
