A bike.
What's your point?

It's a response to your videos.
I'm afraid I've grown tired of explaining everything.
You're just going to have to think about it. -

Uh, which has more pedestrians on it, a typical London street, or a dual carriageway with no pavements? (I don't think there was an element of danger in that Sandbanks video, it was pointing out that you can have fun and enjoy driving while being perfectly safe and not murdering kittens)
Thought so.

I am jealous of the money, however I would dispose of my wealth in a far more elegant manner.....if I were to be so fortunate.
On what, more lycra?

I love cars and always have since very young. So why do I feel that anyone that shows interest/talks about them (especially on internet forums) is a tosser?
I'm off now to do a bit of self loathing.

What's a completely solid track bike?
Those stiff little buggers that you can feel every single imperfection on the road through your arse and hands with.
Something like this.

[Unconnected rant/]There has been a load more under-fjord tunnels proposed around the city where I live. You cant cycle through these, and the ferrys they replace, near die out. Basically this means that I'm fast being cut off from the rest of this beautiful country. Which I've always looked at as cycling heaven (weather aside).[Unconnected rant]
That is one of the worst consequences of Norwegian oil money. :(

Look at the springs in that fork & saddle, now that's luxury!

So, if I bought a Ferrari, that alone would turn be into a (bigger) cock?
When people buy cars (expensive or not doesn't matter) as a part-personality replacement/supplement, it's both cause and has a further effect. Arguably, the bigger/more expensive the car, the greater the underlying problem.
Using cars for jobs to which they are suited is good. Using cars to prop up failing personalities is not good.
I have no objection to the idea of people driving cars for fun. I find it much more acceptable than driving cars for pointless journeys. That said, I am certain that driving cars for fun would, as a rule, generate far fewer trips than driving cars for pointless journeys. Car journeys should be the exception in an urban environment at least.

i think mick is trying to say "people here are just bitter coz they are poor and have to ride bikes!"
Yes, that's mmccarthy's feelings in a nutshell. Remember that he's still a student. ;P
I've said quite a few times that personally I don't have any interest in driving/owning a supercar, regardless of money.
Haha. :)

You're not far off, I hate to say it, it sounds mean but it's what I believe, most hatred for people in expensive cars is jealousy. Sure it probably seems unfair that they've got money to burn while the rest of us have got to be sensible with our money, but who cares, it's their life, let them live it how they please, well, unless murdering people or robbing banks pleases them...
Can you even get cars down there with engines less that 4 litre capacity? =P
Which is what they want you to think whereas the facts are a lot of cyclists have cars too. I own a car.. just not in this country.
The idea that cycling equals poverty and car equals prosperity is one of the main underlying reasons for mass motorisation. It is, of course, entirely false and has contributed to social problems more than many other ideas.

If you read my posts again, you'll see I have no problem with people living in houses, in fact, they're probably the best places to live (Ferraris excluded).
You fool, houses are much too warm.

Who gives a shit anyway? Why does it warrant such a lengthy discussion?
It's because the 'Last Post Wins' thread has been closed. People are frisky.

Alright guys, I was wrong, I'm completely willing to admit it and I have no problem with it. As it turns out, the bacon was actually perfectly done!
Lame attempt at pretending that you'd saved your bacon.
