take this off forum - hussy cool, is on the forum (has been for a while), and laundry should be done in private.
If you meet her and she bums you with the frame, then start a thread about it.
I agree. Let's not have a witch hunt here. Hopefully this can be sorted out to both parties' satisfaction.

Ok really, let's not get to harsh.
I never got that last message you're mentioning, about meeting tomorrow eve, honestly.
One thing I see is me asking you super-nicely three times in a row when/where we could meet, mentioning I am in Central an all, and never getting a clear answer to that question in you replies. After two days... what would be your guess if you were me and knew you originally wished for 700 squids? No, the listing was not edited, but there may be a lock preventing editing when the auction is close to the end.

I really doubt it is all a fabricated story to try and prevent the frame going for less than expected and fiddy should be able to confirm this. Everyone jumping on the witch hunt with only one side of the story isn't cool.

i do not get this, actually frame damaged during final days of sale. I will post pics later once I figure how. It is not about being pissed at sale price.
I am not avoiding sale. frame damaged during sale = must tell = no sale or at least wait until you see it.
Tommaso, you pissed cos I am at work and not in central to come running to meet you asap. I am also trying to find a new place to live asap. Then you put in a thread like this knowing what it could spark, without even replying to my last texts of arranging to meet tomorrow evening.
that is just crap. I have been honest all the way through.
It is not about money for me, I love the bike, I was devastated that it got damaged. Contacted fiddy upset, he offered advice and help. rather frame is damaged, you did get pictures, texts, emails, and because I cant run to meet you today based on an arrangement that was half-heartedly arranged. i even told you I was meeting fiddys' guy tomorrow. You panicked, he is not goiing to spray it there and then, just look at it and tell me if he can fix it.
take the piss all on my text here, I am upset, so I am not writing correctly. -

the end then, but I am bloody upset, tomorrow I be angry. my name is Una.
-
• #86
thank fuck I am not in central.
-
• #87
Una, if you ever mentioned any of the things you're saying about why it was so hard for you to meet, I would have never asked here. Why would I? I only had one-liner replies saying that you were going to Kent to repaint, while I was simply asking to see the damage and the frame in person.
I guess since I won the auction I should say whether I think the scratches are bad or not... -

Don't know if it's bad sport to suggest a list in favour of this deal being sealed?
I for one am at the top of it.what on earth are you talking about? it's none of our business.

can everyone please shut the fuck up. thanks.

I was recommending someone I know to bid to £450 on that frame and go no higher.
But then when I saw 50/14's offer of £600 straight-out in the other thread I told them not to bother as it wouldn't go to completion anyway.
Tentative offer of £600 for the frame and fork, headset and bottom bracket. Need to see it, a bit worried about the rust.
The scratches, whilst bad do not merit a new paint job.
To get a professional job you would have to send it to Argos and pay over £100 and still not recreate that rare multi-colour sparkle finish.I think this Tommaso has a perfectly legitamate right to be asking these questions here.

can anyone close this thread now? seems like Tommaso found his man who turns out to be a woman who turns out to be upset about some things other people are saying which -in the future- can be avoided by closing this thread

I asked the admin to close it already

the situation hussy describes explains why the frame went for less than expected.
i.e. - If all the other bidders were asked not to bid further... am I missing something?
Sorry to laugh at your predicament earlier Hussy.
The full story is not funny. So what are you actually saying ?
Do you mean that you sympathisewith the seller .......... the young lady known as Hussy
Or
You feel that the fustrated buyer is worthy of your commiserations
or are you firmly sat on the fence ??

On reflection it might be fair to relist it on eBay and see what happens
-
• #100
Just my two pence but selling an item both on Ebay and somewhere else at the same time is not cool. It's also against Ebay rules but who cares about those anyway, right?
Was the listing edited? what about ppl that were aiming to bid last minute?
