Don't know if it's bad sport to suggest a list in favour of this deal being sealed?
I for one am at the top of it. -

seeing as hussy is on-line and viewing the forum....perhaps you could pm him/her, and try and sort this out....without any bad feelings
+1
take this off forum - hussy cool, is on the forum (has been for a while), and laundry should be done in private.
If you meet her and she bums you with the frame, then start a thread about it.

Tomasso - fortunate and lucky, sweet frame and a good price.
Hussy - unfortunate and unlucky, a reserve would've been good in hindsight.
Hope the right thing gets done.

i don't think hussy does have to sell it, if someone on here dibsed something and then changed their mind there would be no eyelids battered so why just because they both happen to be on here should hussy be obliged to sell.
she/he didnt get the price they wanted by the sounds of things and is now having a think about it.
this kind of thing happened to me at christmas and the seller eventually decided to sell them to me.
At the end of the day it shouldnt really happen but it does, if you want cast iron consumer rights buy in a shop.
(just my 2p)

I don't think this thread is in bad taste.. If Tommaso can't reach hussy in private (after apparently considerable trying) then posting up on here is another way to get attention to the problem.. Not to mention T doesn't want bad feeling, just the frame

Fair enough Ed, but people on here price things accordingly. When's the last time someone dibbed something, for the seller to then turn around and say, actually it's 400 quid more than that?

eBay is unable to force any buyer or seller to complete a transaction.
If the item was paid for you would have slighty more leverage.
Realistically the most that could happen is negative feedback or a suspended account.
As entertaining as this thread is, and will become, airing dirty laundry on a public forum may not be the best way towards a resolution in your favour.

Mate, if you sell something on eBay, it means you agree to sell for whatever price the auction ends.
If you want a specific sum for it, you just list it here or at college and sell it only if you're happy with the offers.
Plus, eBay offers every kind of seller tools to make sure you get what you want from your auctions.BTW
He's not an "her" :-) Just to be clear.. -

I contacted 50/14 on this forum the day my frame got badly damaged along the top tube. He suggested I end the sale on ebay, go with him to Kent to meet his guy and try get it fixed. I did try to end the ebay sale, not possible. I contacted each bidder, warned them not to make any bids informing them of the damage. they agreed and thanked me for being honest. I was not able to make contact with Tommaso until end of sale as last minute bidder. I did then email Tommaso and informed them that the bike had new damage and not to pay. I then sent images of the damage to the Tommaso. I did then reply to Tommaso email requesting that we meet, sure I said. But today, I am at work, all day and not in Central. I texted Tommaso to say later might suit if I get time off. I did not. I later sent text to say tomorrow evening would suit best. Which it would for me. I am room hunting also at the moment. I have not had a reply from Tommaso since my last text message to you. Then I visit the forum and read all this.
It is just a bike , I can't believe all this back stabbing and accussations. I cannot accept all this intimidation over a bloody bike, the only reason I ever even got a bike was to meet some people.
Screw this.50/14 you want a free Nagasawa frame. I have my principals too, sue me all you like, sure you will get my money, but after this slander and wining and witch hunt, I would rather throw it in the river than let your mitts be on it.
i will never understand why you could not wait until tomorrow night as said in my text, why you did not reply but choose to go down this route. Sad, darn, sad.
That is my account in this forum closed. Not the community I was chasing all these years afterall.that is just not fairplay guy, not at all.

Surely just a case of miscommunication then, no? This Tommaso character has been pretty polite in this thread.

tried to buy a bob about 6 months ago, got an absolute steal, paid the guy the money.. cunt didnt send it, despite saying he would 3 times, and i had to go through the whole claim back thing on ebay.
it leaves a really sour taste when something like this happens. -

Damn, i feel bad about some of my earlier posts.
You guys need to meet up and have a chat.
Hussy, Tommaso has said he wants to sort this out nicely, so forget what everyone has posted in this thread, meet up and i bet you guys can sort this out amicably. -

You can only blame the poor communication during/after the auction

Very dramatic. A simple, 'I f*cked up not putting on a reserve and don't want to let it go to the rightful winner of the auction, for the amount they won it for, cause I am dishonest', would have done.

its all very simple: ending price on ebay too low!!! and also why the frame got extra damage during the auction.....???
I use ebay quite often and I see this problems happening all the time.
No reserve= no security= take what you get. fact. -
• #72
the situation hussy describes explains why the frame went for less than expected.
i.e. - If all the other bidders were asked not to bid further... am I missing something?
Sorry to laugh at your predicament earlier Hussy.
The full story is not funny. -
• #73
geeez guys, no need for all this vitriol.
Tommaso started this thread as he wanted his frame and then everyone else seems to have piled in insinuating more and more. I don't know the full story, but I am also sure most of you don't too. Play nice and hopefully this can all be privately sorted out

but what about the 64,000 dollar question? Are you selling him the bike?
