Im going to be in a small swiss town with eight watch shops in a few weeks. Im seriously considering leaving my bank cards at home and only taking just enough cash to eat.

I have a titanium Seiko including the strap which leaves my wrist dirty especially after cycling. Is this an inherent problem with the metal or do I just need to bath it clean in some chems...?
Or not wear it when sweating of course.

Anyone interested in a Sharing Watch?
Got a brand new one, unused in box, first edition nr 253 of 1000. Sells for about £100 online and in shops. Can't find any online to check prices, but how about £50?
Pickup in dalston or post at cost

However, as a brand this is part of their legacy and informs how their brand is perceived. In terms of marketing and kudos it's pretty toxic.
On the flip side I am utterly in love with the Tudor Pelagos (the baby brother of Rolex) - thanks to that totally irresponsible post from Multi Grooves. Am seriously considering raiding the piggy bank :(
What do you mean when you say their marketing and kudos and indeed brand perception is toxic ? How is their marketing any different from any other watch brand ? And if they are that evil how can you consider buying one of their watches even if it is a Tudor ?

Tudor does nothing for me. Sounds shit.

With respect ejay you're jumping in at the deep end and not actually reading or considering what was written.
I said what is happening with their customised watches as a part of their marketing (which it is) is toxic for their brand when people produce Action Man watches like the one in this thread. Their marketing is different from other brands in that they allow (and clearly encourage) this to happen.
Nobody said they are evil, you're getting a bit over-excited here. I can consider buying a Tudor Pelagos because it is a beautiful watch - this doesn't mean I have to agree with or like the toss that Rolex tie themselves in with through their own misguided marketing.

But really easy to buy via www.chrono24.com from Germany or Italy for example. So no additional tax as they're part of Europe :)
