  • No watch, in the world, could be as glorious as going to see the Arsenal week in, week out.

  • Just think of that tragic lack of atmosphere...

  • Football >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • was in Bournemouth this weekend and spotted this, tried on but didn't buy

Never fear, I'm not giving up my ticket.

^ How much is that Omega?

  • @BDW: Tasty, Sir.

  • exactly which?

  • Hang on, didn't you just buy that Rolex air king date?

  • He did. The boy's hooked.

  • they had it ticketed for 1400, reckon they'd shift a fair bit on it.

I've got big old wrists and that sat quite nicely on it

  • Hang on, didn't you just buy that Rolex air king date?

    Yes, about four months ago.

Turned out to be a little bit of a turkey. Had misaligned lugs and couldn't get the bracelet fitted without a case repair bill. The movement was in good shape but the watch had been through the wars. Sold it on (with accurate description!) for just about what I paid for it. Looked ace on a strap but really want one on bracelet. New owner is chuffed.

Let me know if you see a good specimen!

  • It's only a guess, but it looks as though the dial area may be split into three sections. There's a pointer on the inner section. See that? You may be able to drive the position of this with one of the crowns. Possibly the same goes for the outer chapter ring.

I would have thought a manual would exist.

    Ah a la:

  • Does anyone use the chronograph function on their watch?

    If so, what for?

  • Yup. For the lols and basking in the superiority my movements accuracy.

  • If so, what for?

I use mine surprisingly often. Usually for timing eggs, pizza etc perfectly... and also how long I'm on hold with customer "services" before telling them how rubbish they are.

Nice. I quite like the Chronostop model. I'd be scared in case it ever needed to be serviced though.

Wrong wrist in that photo, mind.

It's the right [pun intended] wrist for me though

  • Bought it :/

  • now sell it to me with buyers remorse at a 10th of the price!

  • You would never wear a 40mm watch!

  • shush your mouth

  • I really shouldn't have bought this.

  • just cause i like big watches as a daily, thin sleek 40 mm is a good dinner watch

This one looks quite difficult to chew.
