So since i fucked up last time, and i was told i should ask here first, let me try. Hopefully i wont get slagged off too much.
I am looking daily wear that i can wear at my employment, but I can also wear while riding, playing out doors.
Im looking for a strong watch, which is not less than 42 but not more than 45 mm.
Automatic
Not multi dial (unless its a sub second- which i love)So not a dress watch. But not a G-shock.

^ That's actually a really nice piece, you can't go far wrong. I'd also suggest looking at Omega and some of the high end Seikos - things like Grand Seiko and vintage King Seikos (might be on the smaller side but beautiful nonetheless). My 'quartz' comment was just pulling your chain ;)

CB - curious to the work requirement - are you looking for a brand so you can "look the part" or is it - "nice enough to look OK with dress shirts, brands are for the vain and pointless"
The Hamilton is a good call BTW.

The work requirement is so it looks smart with a suit.
THe extreme would be the G-Shock. I wouldnt feel comfortable with it when in a suit.
My favourite work watch is the ML. Its not a name that most people would recognise though. Its not about the brand. I know what it is, and i like it and its smart so it fits in with the attire. But sadly its a 38mm watch that i think is too dainty for daily abuse i would throw at it.
The Omega was going to take some abuse. But i did not want to fit the bill that was described about it. I dont like carrying that sort of stigma. I also wanted something with a bit of resell value, but after the experience Ive just had, i am sceptical. I had it less than a week and lost £111. Fucking horrible experience. (but i can say i owned one. and proudly say it was for a week - sort of like owning an Alfa.)

^^fap. Very nice indeed.
I got bored with Steinhart's extending delays so I cancelled my Ocean1 preorder and spent the money on a superdomed A4.
Now it really is back to saving for a house.

Zed - pay a bit more and pick a Junghans Max Bill. I have one that ashamedly I hardly ever wear but they are seriously beautiful. Possibly 'the' iconic dress watch of all dress watches.
If you ever feel the need to 'rationalise' your collection give me a shout gaffer. I have serious love for the junghans
Absolutely! I've recently taken on a role that warrants a tough 'do all' watch so this is perfect. My other watches would cry and be scared.
