Crap, that's not bad. I completely disowned the brand on current aesthetic.
Looks pricey?

I used to really like them when I was a kid just because they were meant to be pilots watches and had loads of markings.
I noticed a few Sicura watches on ebay that also had Breitling in the title so then did a bit of reading and then some hunting around for <1970's ones. But yes you're right most of the ones in recent years look fucking grim. The Superoceans look quite cool though - they remind me of James Bond for some reason.

^they look worse in real life...

I'm sure. TBH I'm not really that mad on "divers" watches. I just really like the shape of the numbers.

i had a blue dial breitling sprint for about eight years. the case is made of resin. i quite liked it. sold it about a year ago or so because i wasnt wearing it enough. i have no regrets about having it or selling it.
mechanical wind, so if that urks you leave it alone.at the moment i am being 'played' in an attempt to get the best price out of me for a 1930's omega de ville 9ct tank case. they know i like it but wont say how much they want to sell it for. i should tell them to count me out of the running. i like watches but i hate games.

Bronze divers? Who makes a nice one??
-
• #7914
My favourite is the Armida A1. May pull the trigger on one soon. I like the Helson Stingray 43. Shark diver is ok but I've got one in steel so I've not really thought about those much.
The Olivier bronze watches look great imo. Spoilt for choice really.

Those bronze ones look a bit steampunky though. Like this guy might wear one:

I'm quite liking the Helson Buccanneer at the moment for bronze. Not sure how available it is though.

Thinking about moving on my Armida A1 (stainless steel, domed crystal, orange minute hand) worn all of once and never taken out of the house, comes with about 10 months of guarantee and all packaging / boxes / straps. PM me if interested.
Too much IMO.
But I have been lusting after some old breitlings recently:
