What time is it? Watches and horology

I'm quite liking the Helson Buccanneer at the moment for bronze. Not sure how available it is though.

So advice needed. For my birthday my father in law bought me a watch - an Armarni AR1605. The thought is lovely, but it's not a watch that suits me. I've got laydee wrists.

It's untouched, unopened with authentication. I'm not sure where he bought it, but it's likely to be duty free.

I can't see any NOS sales on ebay. So; do I bite the bullet and say I'd like to exchange it, or explain that I'll resell and buy something that I will wear.

tl;dr - anyone want a watch, FiL not included?

Always loved the vintage look of Armani watches.

Looks like it would be alright on lady (I call mine "artistic"*) wrists. I had an old Mappin & Webb a few years back, similar style suited me fine.

On the subject of custom starps, just received a couple of made-to-measure G10 starps from this guy:

Yeah, I did consider going to 31trum, but couldn't see any NATO types available.

He does them to order... Like my one which is in the works :)
