That's a bit more useful Pifko, is there any other teams sponsored by watch companies?

Amongst all this watch loving, can anyone vouch for somewhere good for repairs? I stupidly wore my 70s citizen automatic, as purchased in a market in Bolivia for a whole £4, out to a shitty club and someone banged into me and smashed the face. Bad times... I know there is a watch repair place on Clerkenwell rd, but didn't know if anyone would know where is good/cheap etc... Somewhere East/Central or inbetween would be perfect,
cheers in advance.

A friend of mine picked up an Omega a few years ago in Eastern Europe but I think it was an ex SS watch as it has a Swastika on the back, I don't think it would be right to get a photo and to post it up though.
do it !
im no nazi, but i really want one. -

Try eBay. Picked up a £200 Blancpain strap for 45 quid which makes this Noblia look respectable.
The are plenty of aftermarket leather grain straps if you like that look.
High quality straps last longer with a deployment clasp, which also stops the watch from falling off your wrist.
You can go for IWC which is pricey but an investment, or a quality Hirsch model for £35.
Hirsch also make an integrated strap/clasp called the Corvette which looks hot and costs about $60 for the leather version.

Except that it's from a 1997 limited edition run. And that one isn't actually mine, it's just a stock photo I found. Mine is pretty much mint.
And as for people not liking it, fair enough, you can wear as much titanium macho-jewellery as you want. But I have to warn you, I'm a design student and therefore obviously have better taste than you, anyone you know or anyone you've ever heard of (including me, somehow).
What a coincidence, thats the year I graduated.... from my Product design degree, guess I wasn't concentrating ;-)

A Peado watch, no wonder I got it cheap.
Just wiki'd it, seemed they sponsor the Tour De France.
