  • a great guy to deal with.

  • if anyone is interested, I got hold of some 50+ year old thick leather, which when doubles over will make a great starp.
Or single with steel rings for a nice NATO or diver.
it was a natural veg tan, so now more of a well worn (50 years) in , naturally distressed light brown.
any size from 20-26mm. with your choice of stitching colour and buckle.

  • I will make a 22mm tomorrow.

  • ^^^^^ That might be the first Seiko I actually like.

Crazy to think that little flash of orange text sets off the strap perfectly.

  • Sadly I don't think he's making them any more, the thread with that pic in is about 3 years old.

  • he's still doing stuff, I have dealt with him within a month.

  • Will he be able to goth my Seiko up?

  • #greygoth, surely?

  • Nerged...

  • :)
    or
    B) wearing bins

    @OAPslain

  • I think an all black SKX009 would probably be my ideal watch... Fuck everything else...

  • apart from the hands and the markers, right?

  • Black luminz...

I'd change the bezel (if I could), never have been a big fan of the double dimple knurl thing... Straight-ahead knurled bezel... Whammo!

  • you can't get, been looking and trying to pursued someone to manufacture them.....

  • Prob cheaper to buy one of these and get that modded...

  • the hands on that are great.

  • he's still doing stuff, I have dealt with him within a month.

No, I mean that PVD case / watch. He's still in business but doesn't seem to have that model on his site. I've emailed him a pic of the watch to make sure.

    Fools seldom differ... ;)

  • a very similar case

  • x2

    :)

  • Mmmm... PVD. That looks sweet.

  • ^^^^^I dont think anyone is doing pvd SKXs at the moment, theres a few people that do pvd/ceramic/dlc coating for watches but it would cost more than the watch in the case of a seiko. As TS said, youd be better off just buying another pvd seiko and modding it

http://www.bobthayerjr.com/index.htm (many many pvd seikos on here)
