Buying a few new straps this week. Are genuine croc/alli straps any better than a decent stamped leather one? They are way more expensive. One I've been looking at says go for one of our handcrafted alligator straps and not some embossed pattern because it's not the same and you know it. I'm asking because i don't know that.

I’ve never liked the look of croc straps so couldn’t speak to that. However, the spendy ostrich I put on the GS was worth every penny and then some. Definitely not the same as a “standard” leather strap. Hi golf club thread.

I was looking for a matt orange strap for my incoming Squale but seeing it on the GS i thought it could work on my Blue GS as well so don't mind spending a bit on something quality if it'll serve 2 watches. The Delugs is the most reasonably priced as others I've seen have been £200-300. Any recommendations for other Orange straps Ostrich or otherwise even spendy ones? Sharkskin for the Squale? I've just seen Toad as an option which i didn't know was a thing. I like the look of Ostrich leg but not the ostrich leather that looks like acne. This is my current favourite not too bright either with a touch of Cognac or slightly rusty?

Thanks they look nice. I've found these which are the nicest straps I've seen but I'll have a think about which one to go for as they're quite expensive but the other cheaper ones I'll order this week.
