Asking that kind of money smells of brand hype to me. (carefully removes watch and puts back in peli case). I paid nearer to a tenth of that two years ago.

I was made an offer by WoS that if I bought an Explorer and a Milgaus then I’d be allowed to buy a Sub, the suggestion was that the two “qualification purchases” were available to go straight away, but there’d be a wait for the sub.

Lost a spring bar. Are all replacements much the same?

What lug width?

More or less, but I wouldn’t buy the very cheapest. Some bars are “fat”, ie thicker than others. Seiko sometimes use these in their tougher/divers watches and it means normal spring bars rattle about in the lug holes and can come loose (also they are a pain to get into straps that weren’t designed for them).
