  • I'd keep black, but I'm pretty boring with my choices... I'd also go for their bead blasted finish. I guess I like a real utility look.

  • Well, my Aerospace is Ti and the finish is incredibly dull, so thought this would compliment it nicely. Also truer to the original Atmos... Will wear each for a couple of days outside and see which I prefer I suspect.

  • Honestly, both are great. Blue is the more wrist glance "ooh nice" choice.

  • I have the Satinato Blue, which I love, but at some point I will also get the black - it's just such a perfectly proportioned dial.

  • Blue is definitely nicer, not sure about a third of the price nicer though. I really like Squales, just wish they'd get rid of a little of the dial text.

  • If it’s your only divers’ watch I’d keep the black. But I love how that blue dial looks. Big fan.

  • Currently giving this the side eye 👀

  • Not sure how it happened but I chipped the glass on my favourite every day watch. Can anyone recommend where I can get said glass replaced for a reasonable price?

  • Ouch - no scrapes to the case? I had something similar when I was cooking once and must have got the watch too close to the open flame - the crystal went pop much like yours.

  • Correct; no scrapes to the case, at least not there. Anything could have happened to it I wear this watch almost every day including at work lugging around big bits of timber and sheet goods so could have caught it on something there.

  • Alsal stock replacement Citizen glass.

  • I cracked a crystal knocking it against the door of TK Maxx a few months ago. All it takes is that one angle. Any watch shop should be able to do it; I could have done it borrowing the press in a friend’s shop. Just go to somewhere you trust not to leave dust on the dial or you’ll never forgive yourself.

  • On the topic of unforgivable choices, I decided to wear the Chrono AG today, and so far feels alright.

As far as I can work out the watch would have been given as a gift for 15 years working at Satse (or some other 15 year anniversary there, preferred supplier maybe?)

All the same I’m guessing next to worthless if it weren’t for the Ronda inside. Kinda wish I could print a new sterile black dial with hour markers only.

  • I might be interested in the one you don't keep. Never wear my 1545 as it's too sub like, so thinking of changing to another Squale.

  • @Regal - yeah - really like that. Quite a few on WUS at the moment.

@damitamit - I'll get in touch when I've decided. Earliest you could have it is Sept 19th though as I'm not in the UK till then.

  • Decided to put on old favourite today. Since getting my speedy everything else gets ignored... Must remember to mix it up more often.

  • No surprises from me, it’s the Oyster Perpetual again this week.

  • Oh no, wait. It’s the SBDY015 I just got because apparently one turtle isn’t enough. 🙄

    wut?

  • Japanese Domestic Market model, so it has the day of the week in kanji for bonus “watch idiot savant” (internet watch nerd) points.

  • Looking to purchase a new Rolex Submariner (date or no date, stainless). Is there any easy way to do this without having to wait months on a waiting list? Shall I go into the authorised dealers?
