What time is it? Watches and horology

I got the pink one from pdlouche.

Well I say I did, my girlfriend stole it after the first time I wore it. I assume it would fit a nato but it would need to be super slim.

No worries, forgot to mention that’s the Japanese market reference. UK / RoW ref is SPB083J1.

Actually, don’t know if maybe you’re thinking of the one I used to own, the SBDC053 / SPB053J1? That comes on rubber as standard but I ordered the bracelet for it.

In theory they are priced the same. Same movement, same spec. The SBDC065 costs more because it’s a special edition and comes with both the bracelet and a (blue) silicone rubber strap.

There is a black dial + blue bezel version of the Marinemaster style which is cheaper:

Normally it comes on rubber, Gnomon offer it pre-swapped onto the bracelet. Gnomon are where I got my SPB053 bracelet from and my SBDC065, I recommend them highly.

Those Tudor's are marketing - I doubt Sheeran paid for them. Tudor 'brand ambassadors' are Lady Gaga, Beckham and the All Blacks. Which makes the watches less desirable to me.

He probably did, wouldn't be surprised if he paid a premium. Sheeran is an avid collector who knows the value of factory-delivered crest dials.

You're probably right. But the mind boggles at someone paying a premium for an Ed Sheeran tour logo.

On the other end of the scale, just brushed this down with some rouge and stuck a nato on it. Otherwise new. Grabbed it to flip in case @moocher hadn’t found a beater watch yet. Moo’s got a Casio delivered so this is up for grabs if anyone is interested.

It’s a Chrono AG watch with the Satse branding chucked on.
