I like it. Don’t think the angles are over the top, but might feel less so if they went the same way?

I’m a bit obsessed by the SBGX091 at the moment. Heavy money for a quartz watch though.

Quartz ain't that bad. I actually like my Seiko Grand Quartz better than my 16030. I can pull it out the drawer anytime and it has kept perfect time. And it's pretty :)

Suppose there will forever be a snobbery attached, especially toward dropping >£200 on a quartz watch. Suppose after £1000 people bemoan “there’s an auto for that”.
That Dugena I posted yesterday is nearly 30 years old I guess, Swiss quartz, filthy inside, and the movement wasn’t keeping time when the first fresh battery after years went in. Then after a couple of days it was working fine, and hasn’t lost a second since.
If you like it, buy it.

Random Eastern European thing I picked up for £15 on Ebay. Seems to keep OK time once wound.

All good, man... TBH I wanna see it on my wrist anyway, I may not even like it in the flesh!

Thank you.
Angles had to zig zag in order to go easily through the keeper. -

Buying watches is a sickness for which there is no cure. Anyone want a Mk1 Smiths Everest PRS25 to appease my guilt?

Of all the divers on this page without flags on them, I hate this one the least.

I can’t justify it but I do want one. How much do you want for it?

Nice work. How did you learn to make these, btw? Are the tools for making small leather items expensive?
My most experimental strap yet:
The keeper is one part with the strap fold over.
The buckle part is longer so the excess strap is directly opposite the watch (almost) instead of on the side of the wrist.
The slash keeper and end is just for form and may be over the top.
