You can see it too?

The whole dial transfer is off. The numbers don’t align to the indices
-
• #28604
Yup. I think it's because of the point of the crown (on the logo, not the winder obvs) being to the right of the '2' at '12' which makes it look wonky.
I don't like it.

I just printed a copy of the photo and drew some lines to check the alignment. The logo is out of alignment by the most tiny amount. Gives you an insight into how much precision is required in making (or re-dialing) a watch as it is totally noticeable!
I reckon the indices and numbers are more or less ok, but stand to be corrected.

Just feels to me like it needs moving slightly left as much as rotated counterclockwise. I can’t get on with the indices at 6 (sub/minute) nor the way it all aligns to the numbers. It’s almost like the transfer is the wrong size for the dial.
Edit: I mean indices against the ‘middle’ of the made in angle land, which doesn’t appear in the middle.

Whatever is going on, it shouldn't have made it past quality control.

It hurts. Burn it with fire.
On a similar note, the Citizen Promaster LHD (crown at 8, ny0040?) was back in a local cash conversion shop. Was beat up, marked up at £90, offered to me at £70...
Bezel doesn’t line up perfectly at 12.

What would a 50's omega, manual wind and 14ct gold with champagne dial and gold batons, small sub dial and 32mm roughly be worth? Condition is about 7 /10 original condition. Asking as I have found this lovely little watch in a local store... Will see if I can get a pic.

I really like the black leather strap but in the warm weather it’s not practical - I thought a nato was a pretty low key alternative and before splurging on an official one thought I’d try this out. Thoughts?

Yep, that works.

Thoughts?
Not keen sorry.
I think a solid fabric strap will work though.

Your toes seem a bit long. Mine are more like wotsits in length.

Yep, natos always work for tool watches. Think all black or a nice admiralty grey would look good.

hate natos. cheapens the watch. i can imagine that one on a black canvas strap. something like this one. Gunny canvas noir

I’m not a nato fan either, for hot weather I’d want the IWC bracelet for that pilots chrono.

Someone out there is making fabric straps with Cordura, would be pretty good. Saw it after they liked me on insta and I had a scan of their account.

I can highly recommend these nylon straps, a steal at £12.

If they had the plain black in 21mm I'd have gone for one of those :'(
-
• #28623
Sure you can't get a 22 to fit?
-

1mm isn't that much either way.
Not going to be sliding about on a 20mm strap -

I have a Sinn 6052 whose day function is moving at 2x the normal speed (ie. during the night it goes from Monday to Wednesday). From what I observed the process sets in motion at roughly midnight (as it has always done) but will continue changing the day until c. 8am (usually a 1day change is complete by c. 3am).
I fear I might have caused this when I absentmindedly set the watch during the night ...
How much £ would I be looking at to get this repaired and could you recommend anyone in London? Thanks!

That makes me twitch.
I don't like it.
