So that's a no then is it?

Tempting and would be a fair trade, but I’m doing my best to keep my collection very narrow (‘67 -‘72). Ive realised that owning even just one newer watch makes me start looking at all sorts of other (new) watches - gets expensive!

I might be interested in your ‘70s Seikos though!

Well give it some thought, I've never had a Racing and I have enough moon watches. I also have a '71 mark 2 with the standard dial.
or I can keep the Longines Skin diver heritage we have been allocated for you. They will be very rare.( look it up) -

Shits and giggles I got 2 gold F91s. Makes me smile but not sure I could sport this day to day.
Edit: not exactly F91s. Long ass ref codes. A168EGC-3DF for the light face. To bored to find the other one but it's a small lady's which looks as big but really isn't.

My dad liked it, so will have to make one for him as well. If there is leather any left I'll pass it to you.

These are the nicest watches you own... 👹😂😘

Well, they're bought new from amazon so I assume so. Why?
-
• #28586
Just wondered. About 80% of the ones on Amazon and eBay are fake and it's hard to spot from photos.

If anyone has a lead to a nice vintage Moonwatch I’m interested please, either a minty 1979 or something earlier with a stepped dial but not crazy money, sub £4.5k

Omega Geneve in the charity shop. Looked real, wouldn’t start. Wasn’t allowed 30 seconds to look at it - they go to the watchmaker for valuation then dump all the good and genuine stuff on ebay. Quite pissed too - it was a nice beat up condition with scratched crystal and bracelet. Would have been ideal as a knockabout. No fear of scratching a prized possession. Oh well. One day.

Meant to do yesterday but got swept up in the Tour. Then had a barbecue, then I was too pissed . -

Just used a ruler and everything is as it should be. Weird!
It’s from 1970. It looks to be an original racing dial, hands and dial all have the perfect (and consistent) level of fade, just look at that lovely lume degradation and colour <3 and the case is unpolished with its original brushed finish. Movement is just serviced. All together a perfect package, not so mint that I won’t wear it but good enough to be quite special to me.
