  • do tudor sell elsewhere in the eu, they shouldn't really be able to block sales to the uk if so.

That pelagos does look nice, they seem to have them here http://www.kcwatches.co.uk/25500-tn-tudor-pelagos-watch-7484-p.asp but it seems to be an internet only store

    farrrrrrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!

  • Do it. Life is short. Spend your money.

    Listen to the man .......

  • You know how Tudor isn't sold in the UK (yet)? What does that actually mean in the age of the connected, global village? Can't a UK reseller just order a shipment and retail them over here?

    No they can't .

  • I saw maddernj 's PAM005

Damn annoying its growing on me

  • Chuffed to bits because tomorrow I'll have this show up :)

Not getting the bracelet (not a fan of the Jubilees at all), but am getting both bezel inserts. Have a bunch of NATOs to keep it on and experiment with for a while, but plan at some point to find a decent Oyster bracelet for it (though I have a feeling it may still spend a large part of it's time on a NATO).

    strong work

  • No they can't .

Yes, that's been established, I guess my question was 'why not?'

Not allowed . No stockists in the UK currently , so without an official agency in place you can't order stock .
Rolex and Tudor have very strict criteria that must be met before you can be a stockist . Is done to ensure quality of agencies and customer service is met .

  • can a leather strap be fitted to that Seamaster I posted above?

  • Picked up a Seiko 5 for everyday wear for £8 on eBay. Bought a new band because there are a few ropey looking links, which I'll fit when I can be bothered.

  • Urgh, photo fail...

  • I like this a lot. Worth £495 price tag?

  • I'm gonna say no. probably wrong.

  • You are wrong. As long as the insides are in good condition thats an Okish price.

    Gawdy as fuck though

  • @OliverBall - it's kind of OK for that price but it's not a very sought after model. Honestly, if I were selling it I'd expect it to go for about £100 less.

  • I quite like the gold...although I prefer this being £200 cheaper

    I may bite

  • ^ Much nicer and much better price. Check the crown though, must be signed, not sure it looks original (from a distance).

  • I saw maddernj 's PAM005

    www.paneristi.com

One for sale in Cov for £2100

  • ^^ on their ebay page, where its also on sale, they've said the crown is being replaced atm

  • ^^I don't feel they justify their price tags.

  • Fucking botched the battery replacment for my daily beater casio now there is no sound.

    :(

    #cumberland fingers

Ordered a replacement and got one of these as backup beater:

  • Less naff Omegas plz

  • It's interesting isn't it how fashions change. In the seventies a luxury watch almost had to be gold - today you can only wear one if its a dress watch at an evening event.

I reckon it will roll around again - probably a good time to buy classic gold watches?

  • Couldn't agree more. And I'd say gold is becoming more popular again judging by some of the catwalk stuff I've seen recently. It'll probably take a while to filter to men's, but I'll report back if I see anything interesting at London Collections in June.
