And how much is the Campagnolo BB? or can you use other BB? the Miche one is only £12 for the Miche crankset.
£58 for a Record Pista BB but then i'd expect a Campagnolo BB to last you two or three Miche BB's, cancelling out the extra cost.
Plenty of people have fitted the Record Pista to Campy Centaur BB's as well. They're about £20ish.

I'd be grateful if you can let me know where to get the Centaur BB for £20ish. It seems the price has gone up?

on the stronglight v Miche advanced its Miche all the way:
I've used both, and kinda have a pathological hatred of stronglight now, and am currently rocking Miche.

Ha ha true. On further investigation anything around the £20 mark is out of stock. Cheapest I've found is about £35. Still worth the extra £30/40 over Miche I think.

CONdor charge £29 for an OE Centaur, but had none a couple of weeks back.

sugino 75s in black are my favourite strong beautiful but not too sharp and boxy looking

I have the Sugino 75s although I've been made mad jealous of the White Industries ones...

Are you sure you mean cabinet and not bin?
They were beautiful until the angle grinder hit them.Sorry
Nah not like that - they had a big spider - probably 144 bcd, but the chainring filled the gaps in the spider and made it a solid disk. Thought it looked swish. Nearly bought them when they appeared on ebay, but crank length was 175 or 180 or something nuts.

Gran Compe
Not my favourite, but it is stunning.
They are Sugino RD2 with coloured bolts and a different chainring, Dia Compe simply rebrand them.

We are not talking use, we are talking looks.
If we where talking use, Miche Advance beats everything, hands down.
My current bikes are set up 1 with Sugino 75s, 1 with Campag C-Record Pista, 1 with Sakae Ringyo Pista and 2 with Miche Advance, and the Miche are buy far the best in every way IMHO.

I think I know what you mean, but isn't it just a solid ring bolted to the 49D instead of the spider like yours. The spider is just an adapter from 50 to 144 bcd.

The C Record Pista cranks with the engraved shield logo, as modelled by Hippy;
That is very nice indeed. Minimal, I like it a lot.
