X-One Bite tyres performed very well yesterday. Chose them over the baby limus tubs. Who knows if that was the right decision.
Legs and line choice and were less strong.
Overall, had a lot more fun than I was expecting. Still haven't found a solution for the cyclopark cleat / pedal clogging grit of death problem. Any ideas?

I've never had my cleats jam up so quick as by the steps yesterday.

Riding the stairs looked to be the best solution, if you've got the skills. I don't.

There were a few comments from spectators about the opacity (or lack thereof) of some racers' (naming no names) attire.

Sexeh cyclocross?
In other news just cleaned my tubs. Not sure how so much mud could be compressed in so little space.
No idea how people were riding that on clinchers / tubeless - if you weren't bottoming out every lap god knows how you had any grip.

Was going to but bailed,,,didnt get to try Howards wheelsπ

I had clinchers at around 20psi. Was bottoming out on the harder ground but grip was fine on the cambers. But then again the only place I'm contesting is last.

Tubeless at ~25. Should've gone lower maybe.

Bah, heβs not a patch on Alec Briggs, who is rumoured to have ridden the big run up on the last lap of yesterdayβs London League.
Thatβs way more impressive.

You raced, ergo it is AndyP approved.

He did, I was there wipes away a little tear

John is great

He'll be sorely missed as the hand on lcca's tiller. Is anyone organising a goodbye do / gift etc?

Just seen a video of the start of today's Senior London League race, da fuck was that about?!

link?

Glad I missed it then. The start up the fire road was one of the highlights of the season before, an uphill cavalry charge and plenty of bumping and leaning.

Good result @oΜΌwlzΝ

Yeah - he lapped me too!

Amazing how well you can do without a 100 km ride from the day before in the legs.
The start was the worst bit - got much better after that although my race certainly would not have been AndyP approved - Other than the two early off camber corners I was woeful on all the other features.
Great course and quality heckling going on though!
