Just in case someone is getting beer etc in, I will be bringing my own supplies. Makes it easier, methinks. I will also be carrying jelly babies. I want to make that clear.

Fred had one on the overnighter to Brighton and they are really good. And with £23 you can't really go wrong. Could even drop it off at your work (Old St, right?) on the way home.

Far be it from me, a TNRC virgin, to question your established ways... But has anyone thought about doing one a week till the end of the season?

i've got one of these. the bracket is crap and chews through batteries - that said it's lasted for a year and puts out enough lights for tnrc. not hope though.

Guys, sorry, I won't be at London Fields. I'm going out to ride my bike now. Stuck indoors working for most of the day, I'm finishing early to catch some of this lovely sunshine. I'll see you all at Ingatestone.

Good idea with beer. I could do a shop run when I get to Ingatestone, but I don't buy or drink beer in tins. If we're going to stick it in a hedge somewhere, I assume bottles will be just as popular?

i've been off work today. I'm not feeling great. it's digestive. i'm off out for a short ride now to see how I feel. If I still feel like (a) crap when I get back I won't be coming.. hope i can clear my head (ie stomach).

OK, following a bit of faffing around I'm off now. One slight logistical problem occurred to me, which is that it would probably be prudent to have someone else there to watch bikes. Hence I'll wait at the station for the next person/group to arrive and then we should be able to get beer in together.

dudes - get beer sorted for yourselves before you board the train at liv street. we don't want 25 people cack arsing around with 2 bottles of beer each in the shop before we get started.
