Have fun all of you. I gather the weather's going cheer right up through today, so you should get a lovely evening's ride in.

Rubbish - have to work late ... Which means there is a spare place - sorry to do it so late - but it's only in the cold(ish((actually quite clement)) reality of a Tuesday morning that I realise what a lot of work I should have been doing for the past month ...
Up for grabs ->
Place no.3) Train 19:15 london liverpool Street to Shenfield ( then ride 2 miles to Ingatestone)
Have a good ride everyone. Really sorry to miss this.

Um, Tom you seem to have declared my space as free. It is not and I will fight to defend it.
I think, perhaps, you meant the 19:02?

@Ved... sure you do. GBB.
@Drink-haters... seems like a plan before the ride was needed, considering the amount of times we've tried to sort it, unsuccessfully, after the ride. Meh... every rider for themselves then.
@All y'all... see you out there. - jonny

Cheers Tim. I'll get you some Kestrel lager.
-
• #2989
tim likes a 49p can of Jaguar if you can find one.
i will be sticking a small bottle of rose in my backpack.
Just three more to go after tonight ls & gs- dates for the diary
we have tonight and then just three more TNRC before the season is through. the last on **20 October ***will *be the Surrey Hills. the other two are up for grabs. i would quite like to do one of the Kent rides again (Sam if you are free on one of the dates - 22 Sep or 6 Oct) but we can discuss later. i am really just pointing this out to anyone else out there who wants a piece of the TNRC before the new 2010 season begins.

Have a good one tonight all - gutted to be missing this one, I'll be at the mercy of British Airways when you're spinning those lanes. Will be groveling my way up Mt St Helens on Friday as penance.
-
• #2991
Unlikely, I'm all out of proper lights - waiting on wiggle for a delivery.
No moonlight + silly little flashing commuter light + over 20 mph = bad idea.
Enjoy the ride!
Add very poor night vision to that and you will be as well equipped as myself!
-
• #2992
I request a Kent ride that isn't really honest, please. Semi-honest. Is there such a route?
-
• #2993
hmm I like the look of the crazy fast paced ride out. I need the miles big time. Is anyone leaving from the city around 5ish?
-
• #2994
just a reminder guys - please make sure you have at least a couple of other riders phone numbers. lots of travelling separately this evening until the TNRC proper hits those Essex lanes. [/dad]

i wasn't serious about crazy fast pace, it will be a consistent pace ~17mph.
-
• #2996
I know, I know. I'm joking. But I may be up for the ride out though, if anyone is leaving from or passing through The City/Old Street area at at that time?
-
• #2997
mike pub in the park in london fields is only 10 mins from old street. if you have 45 minutes to find it you can't go wrong. i would suggest pm'ing texas or polkinghorn and getting moby numbers for back up. will pm you mine as well dude, though i am on the train out.
-
• #2998
I'll be leaving Hatton Garden with chum at around 6 if anyone wants to join us.

What's it gonna be? Glasses or decent light? You wouldn't be considering putting other riders at risk now, would you...
If anyone's turning up without adequately corrected vision, or lights, let me know now so that I can pull out of tonight's ride.
-
• #3000
Well no. Thats exactly what I try not to do. I forgot my glasses and my lights aren't great. The last few times I have been, I have wheel sucked Martin or Claus and gone down the hills very slowly on my own at the back. But if someone can lend me a half decent light I will be most appreciative.
Not sure about the ride out as I have a meeting at 4 I forgot about. If it drags on so be it, if not I hope to get to London fields for 5.30
It's all gone to [st]pot[/st] booze.
