Yeah. Just sunk in.
I'm so happy.
Edit: Brett Harwood won with 46:40.

There can't be that many people in the UK who've gone faster than that?
-
• #13657
Fuckin hell! That's a couple of minutes off the British record! Much sadness at not getting a ride. Much impressedness at your engine skinny. Strong work.

11 people.
http://www.timetriallingforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=37185It was a fast day, so I'm under no illusions about the time. But hey, luck of the draw. Made up for my power.

Yeah the right arm could do with going back. That's a CFD tripsuit she's wearing, not a stock one. Different tech on the backs of the shoulders and also the front of the torso, eg:

You're not stealing any of my thunder (or lightning, hail or rain!). I race to achieve personal goals and hit another one today with a 1:47:18 taking about 4min off my PB and breaking Pete Cookson's 1995 club record by 3min. Leg numb as fuck - probably spent a few minutes not pedaling but a record's a record so fuck it. Stoked. Just the 10 now :)

H25/13 and H25/3B - wonder what those courses were like. Never heard of 'em.

Such a pain about your leg.
I wonder if it's that thing I tagged you in. -

Was just chatting to my brother who rode on Boardman's comp record day, the course code should be H25/13B. They were variations of A420 from Cumnor down to the A34 at Oxford then south to Didcot. Gift hill at the start as the finishes were either just before or just after the A34/A420 junction. Boardman reported being spun out on 110" fixed for the first section, thought his testicular region was permanently ruined but his subsequent breeding proves the contrary

Not sure, I've only skimmed that article but I have a feeling it's what they tested me for a few years ago. I also got on the piss last night and was crook this morning (no missus to tell me to stop drinking - oops). I was pretty much gonna chuck the towel in when it chucked it down but then it cleared and I got a quick warmup and actually felt ok. On the way out I sat up a bunch after 5mi because of the leg but on the way back with the tailwind I could back off and maintain speed so it wasn't so bad. When my average was up I just keep pushing towards the end to make sure I nabbed the record. Need a float day + E2/10 now :)

suppose that depends if you rode the return leg on a flat ;) amazing time, dramatic day, rain, hail, thunder, lightning etc many kudos for a 46!

• #13673
Not the day to get a flat! Sorry for your bad luck.
Yeah, crazy weather. -

BT TV Eurosport1 coverage of Womens National TT,
plenty of screen time for Aerocoach,
and a special mention from HS for the 56tooth chainring. -

dramatic day, rain,hail, thunder,lightning
And a fairly stiff breeze out Bentley way, not enough to excuse my time but lots of people found it slow.
how fast? 46?
