  • So first prediction was right. Hayley smashed it.
Clare rose though, what a ride!

    Top three

    1. Hayley Simmonds - 47:33.357

    2. Claire Rose - 48:06.315

    3. Dame Sarah Storey - 48:12.465

  • Fire away!

  • Great ride by Dame Sarah Storey for 3rd place too!

  • Only playing.

Great ride by hayley. But I don't think it'll be enough to take her to Rio. Pooley will go, becasue of the course.

But it's good to see hayley smash it and do what she loves.

Clare rose. Wow. Storming ride. She's get history though.

  • I wonder why Ed B isn't riding the mens. Bit of a shame after 2nd last year.
Guess he's not been training and not got the needed form. As such no point racing really.

  • Hasn't ridden a TT bike since last years 10 champs.

  • Bullshit, or an excuse, but not a reason.

I didn't ride a TT bike in 2 years till a few weeks ago.

  • BC live ticker coverage is fucking pathetic.

  • Gullen up on perry.

    So Dowsett, Gullen, Perry.

  • That's how it finished. Who's Gullen? Perry's the army fella, yeah?

  • James Gullen.
Semi decent domestic pro, now riding with Pedal Heaven. Very good TTer. Can handle a bike and so very good on roadmans course. Pretty sure he works a part time job.

Perry is the army guy. Rode for Metaltek last year and was 3rd last year too!
He's class. For a non full time rider.

  • James Gullen - "semi decent"

    You have very exacting standards!

  • In terms of the UK scene, it's fair, he's semi decent domestic pro road racer.

And on my scale, I'm not even decent. I'm ok.
    So the scale is fair!

  • Lydia Gurley (our other AeroCoach pro) got bronze at Irish national TT champs just now too. Apparently it's close between the men (Roche, Dunbar, Mullen)

  • ~50W between Gullen and Dowsett.

Gullen must be seriously aero. Classy.

  • "Gullen has also written his name into cycling folklore by claiming 777 victories on the North West’s most famous Strava segments."

    DTM.

  • Any thoughts on the r100/8 course? Is it likely to see a full field?

  • I like Wales.
    Doubt it.

  • I think the version used for the National last year was slightly different, but I also like Wales.

  • In that case, I think the September 4th event there might be my first 100.

  • Looking like a proper fast day on the E2 at Zak Carr.

    Get in.

  • @skinny 's posted image above, Hayley's arm trip strips look a bit twisted... Assumed off placement adversely affected efficiency. @xavierdisley be having words...? :-)

EDIT: great result BTW; well done, Aerocoach.

  • Sorry bud. Fastest day I've ever had. Floatusmaximus.
