  • i thought it was all about brewing in steel / glass? plastic would taint the brew?

  • Fuck knows, I've not trawled that deeply yet. Give me a few months of late nights and spousal neglect and I'm sure it'll all come together.

  • You've made your plastic containers cry. I hope you can live with yourself.

  • All the home brew kits I've seen use plastic. I've no idea if it's for cost, convenience or anything else. They were only ever used to make uber sweet, alcoholic party pop. Leg Opener Lager, Devil's Draught, etc. Ah, those were the days.. bathtubs full of stubbies..

  • Village Idiot at the Village Inn.

  • I don't know if anyone has seen this yet. Sharps have been bought up by Moulsen / Coors

Please don't let them fuck up those beers

  • le sigh

  • Wandle
    Ashtons? brown ale
Sierra Nevada which I've never had before reminded me of a hefe-wiesse on the dunkel tip
Honey Blonde from some place starting with D was nicest so went back for more.

Lunch 'til 7pm on Thursday was fun.. :)

  • Slovakian friend of mine, she rates Sierra Nevada. Slovaks know their juice.

  • sierra nevada is ace, not so sure about wandle though

  • sierra nevada is...

...not as good as Anchor Steam. Wish I could find it here.

  • you can get it in pubs here, think i had some in the rake in bourough

  • yeah i see it every now and again

    i'm thirsty

    Bottle or draught?

The Sloaney Pony has their Liberty Ale in a tiny bottle for buku dollar.

  • just seen it bottled. no good?

  • the importers list 19l kegs so it is available.

  • All star bowling lanes brick lane has it on draft if I remember. Beware, full of wankers that place.

You can get it in bottles in Selfridges, and yes it is very nice,

  • Supped this last weekend.

    Very nice to.

    Totally worth it though, imo.

  • Had far too many pints of Champ Flowers? last night, very lovely, can still taste it now.

  • Only available in rural Suffolk I'm afraid but a solid beverage..

  • ^ I certainly hope it's better than this piss water

  • Certainly. For one it isn't lager, two the brewery isn't owned by Fosters.

  • What, real ale drinkers don't have a sense of humour?
