I've found Belgian brews don't do much damage. I've been caned by some higher percentage British beers though, Kernel 7% or something when consumed in pints can do some damage.

heh, don't know if you've sampled ridgeway > http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/7944 < their 'elf' series (and others) are interesting, i really like the 'lump of coal' stout

It doesn't ring a bell. Not too common in London perhaps?

^ Went to the beersofeurope warehouse near Kings Lynn a decade or so ago - it was an expensive "drop in".

I've had a couple of the ridgeway ones, they're in a few of the offies round Reading way.

That's who we've been using the last few years.
They've lost one of our boxes though so we might be cutting ties soon if they don't sort it. Their courier company insists two boxes were delivered but they were not.

Coopers is ok.
What's mountain goat like?
They got Little Creatures beer in the Hops and Glory (Orwell) for Australia day

One would hope they'd realise the value of your past and future custom, and offer a no quibble express delivery of your fave brew.
If you don't look after your customers, someone else will..

Nice and 'smokey'. A proper winter ale.
Enjoyable...

I don't drink Australian beers.
Nope, only Begian beers from there.
Mountain Goat's beers were my faves when I left. There's lots more over there now but most of it won't make it over here. Coopers was good for something with taste that was actually available at most pubs/bottle'o's
One of my locals has Little Creatures but I'm no fan. Who am I kidding, if it's wet and cold it's awesome. :)

I tried these Stone wood beers which were ok.
The Pacific ale was like a wheat beer like Hoegarten and the Jasper was more 'meaty'
Not worth the ridiculous price I paid though

Mr Sworld - good beers! Citra is an interesting hop, want to use it in a home brew soon.

I think the kernel make one with Citra
very tasty -

I've tried the Pacific at the Old Red Cow near Smithfield. I can't remember if I liked it or not as that night carried on for a while.... #'oblivion
