  • A bottle of this stuff. Pretty damn tasty, bit more bitter then most stouts, which is quite nice.

  • Had Camden's Caravan Coffee Ale last night at Caravan Kings Cross. It was interesting but also delicious.

  • In 24 hours, I will be bound for Ghent. So take that.

  • Pressure Drop's Sweet Potato Ale last night. AMAZING.

  • Exqueeze me? A sphincter says what?

  • Get involved.

  • How and where?!

  • I don't know if it's on 'general release' as such. I had it at a preview of Tim Anderson's new restaurant last night, but if it's available to buy outside of the restaurant it will be direct from Pressure Drop or at the Euston Tap.

  • Cheers fam, will try seek it out. Was is sweet?

  • It wasn't overly sweet but a little sweeter than your usual pale ale.

  • At the weekend I enjoyed Bare Arts (Todmorden) Milk Stout & Dark Stout.

I brought home a bottle of their Dark Porter 6.1% which is like a smoky bonfire. Like the dark ale equivalent of Ardbeg. Nice.

  • Anyone been to The Cats Back in Putney ? Or thereabouts ?

Owned by Harvey and Son brewers.

Their Old Ale was exceptionally good.

  • Yeah, its lovely, and has good music upstairs quite regularly.

  • I spent the last week in New Orleans and become quite accustomed to this lovely beer, I haven't ever seen it in the UK.

  • This was also delicious

  • Had one of these yesterday, bloody lovely.

In other news, I ordered a guiness at a pub. They had a tap on the counter, so I was a little confused when he reached for the fridge. Out comes a 500ml tin of guinness, poured into a pint glass and topped up with a shot of water. Yes, you heard. Speechless.

  • Did you throw it in his face and shit on his bottle opener?

  • Yes.

He opened it with his teeth, by the way.

  • Guiness is shite marketing bolx anyway. You got what you deserved...

  • A new Marble Brewery Black IPA, dangerous but lovely!

And this from Okell's, I've seen this in a couple of other pubs too recently. A new thing?

  • Delicious rum porter at Jolly Butcher on Saturday. If only I could remember the name.

  • ^ Ohhh... That sounds lovely! ^_^

  • Yup, lovely. Cant wait.

  • Went to The Red Lion in Isleworth on Friday night. There was a beer festival on......over 50 different beers during the weekend.

Can't remember the names of any of the delicious beers I drank, but I do remember the Windsor Knot was disappointing.
