Use a 10T pulley as the upper pulley. The rear should just clear 32T. Just play close attention to chain length when you're setting it up ..

I could, to be honest, chuck a 12-27 on there, I climbed Zoncolan on 50/34 12-27:

should've gone Ambrosio! :)
I should, do they do 135mm disc hubs?
-
• #831
um no.. not that I know of. Disc compatible campag hubs are going to be awkward.. maybe hope?

Hope laced to notube is the best solution, but in the end still going to cost an extra £200.

And you know its going to be stiffer than anything weighing anywhere close to it.
Have you read this before? .. agreed it's 7800 tested and Red 2011. It would be interesting to see if they do an update now the new groupsets are available.

I've read that, I really wished they'd included the Hollowgrams.

11-32
This was a Leonard Zinn article I remember on hacking Di2 a bit to get a 32 on it
Another option might be to try a Shimano cogset not recommended for Di2, as a number of riders used on the Angliru climb in the Vuelta this past season. (The maximum cog size recommend by Shimano for Dura-Ace Di2 is 27 teeth.)
I’ve heard of riders using Shimano cogsets topping out at 30 or 32. They said that they had to max out their b-screw adjustment (to rotate the cage way back so the upper jockey wheel won’t pinch the chain between against the largest cog). A trick for getting more backward rotation rear derailleur rotation to eliminate noise and roughness on the largest cog is to remove the b-screw and put it in from the opposite direction so the head, rather than the tip, contacts the derailleur hanger tab. You have to be very careful when trying a cog larger than the recommendation, as you wouldn’t want to ruin such an expensive derailleur by trying to make a shift that it couldn’t handle because the chain was too short. -

There is a new Tiagra cassette with 30t.
They've got all the same ramps etc (and nice shifting) as 105/Ultegra/DA but no alloy spider so they're cheap.

I posted on this in the best cyclocross bike for a grand thread, but essentially you have three options for Campag disc hubs;
- DT Swiss
- Novatech
- Velocity
Only the former are readily available in the UK, and are expensive and require a freehub changeover.
I'm going Shimano when I buy hydraulic discs, probably Ui2

Are you going for integrated levers as in those on the Colnago?

I'm using the SRAM Apex WiFli at the moment, I'll have a look at 105/Ultegra.

I think 105/Ultegra only go upto a 28t

with these beauties?

I actually really like them. They look narrow enough for small hands to wrap. Plus the lever looks clos to the drops for short fingers.

ugly

Would look neat with neon green hoods though.

There's a new SRAM red and rival version of the Apex that go up to 32t now.
Triple are now obsolete.

As you can mix'n'match Sram road and MTN components, this doesnt really add anything.
So if you want a hydro-disc'd CX trail bike for example. A Sram Red groupset with the rear mech replaced for an X0 medium cage for example. Would allow you to run a 11-36 cassette. If you dont mind the gaps.
I fear no hill
