I think I went to customer service at the bottom of the page and did a chart thing, it’s automated at first but you should get the option to be connected to an agent. I asked about the next day refund and they said I had to wait 48 hours from contacting the seller, they either said they’d set it up to automatically refund me or that they would get a reminder to review the case after 48 hours.

I paid with my debit card but its a mastercard one so hopefully can get something going there if need be.

48 hour route, because it’s allegedly a delivery issue. Got the same ‘Dear Friend, wait 8 days…’ message as you. Meanwhile whatever they sent has made it halfway across the US 😂
Amazon should have our backs on this one, especially given how many people will be affected. Never thought about it but I wonder if its a deliberate choice by Amazon to not have a ‘I think this is fraudulent’ button.

Also had a ‘delivery attempted’ message. Have now requested a refund and wrote a message saying I think this is fraudulent activity and know others affected.
So, hopefully the money is on the way back.

Friend said theres a way to speak with a human or human-like AI at Amazon via a ‘contact us’ link. Seems the ad is now offline and the angry reviews aren’t visible anymore, so I wager Amazon has cottoned on.
Got a message from the seller along the lines of ‘Dear Friend, we’ve sent another one that will arrive in 5 days please be ok with this’. I’ll retract my complaint if I get the replacement (lol).
