while I'm sure the money for the kayaks will be refunded,
compensation for the loss of 'the dream' will be more problematic.

Had a chuckle this afternoon - one of those kayaks has turned up BNIB on Gumtree up the road from me (seller asking for £160 - hahahaha - definitely NOT a bargain). Maybe a couple actually made it after all!

are you tempted? we've been at the beach this week, really compounded the sense of what might have been.
I did rent a rowing boat for a bit which helped to relieve the sadness though.

Thinking we might just hire them this year instead!
