Put my old risers back on the Pomp, the ones I've been using didn't have enough rise and have been killing my spine... Dunno how that's gonna affect handling/playing, will find out tomorrow...
Also bought a booster for the back brake then found another at the HH jumble this morning for a fiver so I whacked one on the front as well... Next week I finally need to get my 3-speed rear wheel sorted, gonna go with a down-tube shifter on the seat-tube... Unless someone gives me a very good reason why I that's a retarded idea... ;P
And I'm gonna need some new cranks...

Is that the promax lever ppl are using and will it work with normal V-Brakes?
-
• #6786
^ Isn't it the same as the one I sold you Cowhen? If so, it'd be a short pull. But TS uses it for his V brakes and it works fine. I gave it up because I am shit at setting up brakes.

^Don't think it's the same as yours, ExTra... it seems to have the rubber grip on the lever, which Jono says marks the long-pull V-brake version. Also it lacks the triangular auto-balancing inner pivot thingummajig which apparently makes it hard to set up for polo, so that's good. Guess you could disconnect/remove the parking brake button. Cheaper than the one I just ordered, too... mumbles, kicks rock

Group buy? I need one (and I'm afraid of the german language)
Edit, actually at that price I'll take 2! :)

Hmmm, fantastic website. German or not I'm confused. Just ordered a lever and didn't pay anything. Maybe they will invoice me instead
-
• #6790
Yeah, that's fairly normal in Germany, because most people pay by bank transfer, not credit card.

So will I get an invoice with the product with details how to pay? The email confirmation doesn't have any payment links.
-
• #6792
I imagine it will come with the lever, that's how it usually works,
-
• #6793
Depends on what payment option u chose.
There is:
-payment in advance (with note saying : bank details after contact???)
-payment at delivery -
• #6794
Ah I didn't really notice anything, just used googles automatic translate and filled in the details and clicked continue until it said done. Didn't ask me for an option how to pay.
-
• #6795
This is why I'm afraid of doing it myself! Does it give you postage options for anywhere in the eu!?
-
• #6796
Yeah I choose a billing address and a delivery address.
