  • i liked the little red fire truck, but you never convinced me that YOU liked it, so for that reason I'm out.

  • Fixed.
Controversial. Is your freewheel up for sale then? I could be interested.

  • It doesn't stop you from having different tyres front and back, just not a massive difference.

No need for protrusions, you can keep the freewheel off until you swap wheels.

    Still a stupid idea though.

  • Removable disk? HTFU FFS...

  • Wheel Covers? HTFU FFS... ;-)

  • you missed the ;-)

  • edited, must include really old fashioned smiley

  • I am confused...

just cover it? front wheel gets very little sideways force as bars turn.

  • In an impact, unlike the rear, the front will just turn, reducing the sideways stress on it from t-bones, collisions etc.

Ben, please start posting something coherent and useful. Such as: http://aloadofbollocks.com/boom

  • i got my new frame built up last night, rode it to work today and it feels pretty perfect, im just glad the measurements i specked added up, i was expecting some kind of misshapen out of proportion clown bike

  • That looks awesome

  • Built before snoops'!

  • A Cosmic bike takes time. Each part has to be blessed by all of us. And Mat's on holiday...

  • it always happens, Jono got his butterbean after me but built it first. Now Ste get's his Marino after me and builds it first. FML.

    Edit: yeh, what Todd said.

  • Also looks good, Ste. You should flat bar that mother fucker though.

  • Nah! Lower rise though for sure + longer stem...

  • Flat bars are rubbish, low rise ftw.

  • Tried a longer stem but didn't like it, the bars arnt that high 2.5" I think, that picture makes them look really high, played on it tonight was awesome everyone said it just felt like their own bike straight away which I think is what you want

why a longer stem toddy? i just want to know what it gives you over a short one in your opinion.

  • More levrage in the corners, more stable riding position more leverage for hopping around and the like, generally more leverage and it's easier to play the ball in front of your front wheel. Downsides = less upright riding position (visibility/shooting) and less "nimble" steering (twitchy).
