^That second dimple in the bruiser chainstay looks like it's from the factory, but doesn't appear in the other pic, odd. looks mean though.
Anyway - me me me. I now have a solid 65mm bmx stem, and by tomorrow should have drilled / hacksawed / filed my fork dropouts by about 15mm.. it's incremental.
I tried flipping the forks forwards on Monday, but it felt weird and I had the dreaded 'handlebar snap syndrome' so now I'm back to negative rake.
Filing the fork just to get the front end down a bit (frame was designed for 80mm sus forks)Does anyone have a BMX gyro going spare?

The full Bruiser was one of the prototypes, they've changed a few things for the production version. The chainstays are more kicked inwards than the built version above so the extra dimple was unnecessary.
Can't help on the Gyro front I'm afriad but if you end up getting a new one buy a sealed version as they work far far better.

I might try Kev's double brake/one lever method.

I might try Kev's double brake/one lever method.
I've been thinking the same thing. Hold off on it for now though as there's an old BMX method which, if I can get it to work, saves on having as many brazeons attached to your frame.
Also I've just found the new Avid Cantis which look amazing and the cyclocross world's feedback looks to be impressive.

I'm running two brake levers on the same side - I've got a shorter lever on top
you can still modulate your stopping with two levers which I like

Sooooooo, after the disappearance of my old Polo Bike on monday, my boss has told me im far more useful when im mobile, and to buy a new bike on company credit cards, the cost of which will then get pulled out of my bonus (whenever that comes)...he said spend 600squid
basically ive just been given 600 squid to build a polo bike however i like....I am tempted to join the sword brigade as i really like the frames, but then im a bit scared of blowing £400 on just a frame......any suggestions?
