  • Boring.

  • I'm doing dual-double-brakes. I will stop so fast I will have stopped before I ever start.

  • im doing double v brake, double disc. discs will grab before v brake, obv.

  • I may throw a disc brake onto my chain ring, but this would require a problem solver. But surely the more brakes the better.

  • that was done months ago in KA, in Hannes' bike

Lucky has been sure to point out that the method utilised here has been done by others before him. He also site Hannes as the first.

  • Double fixed drivetrain, twin disks (custom welds) front and rear, with double v-brakes (just in case), I am making a special cable for all the brakes that will feature cable and hydraulic fluid... the lever will be replaced with a simple button... job done.

(Gabes, I'm guessing you know a guy who knows a guy, cause they aren't doing int'l shipping as far as I can tell?)

  • Contact lucky via .ca forum, he'll sort it out.

  • Do I sense a group order Jono?

  • Boring.

  • I'd be interested in a couple if there's going to be a group order...

Although are these any better than the 2 cables into one option (that's what the problem solver is right?)

  • If you like:

    1. Jono (long pull)

It's cheaper, has independent barrel adjustment on the lever for each brake, and if a cable breaks, you still have one brake. So yeah, I'd say it's better.

    1. Jono (long pull)
    2. Emmet (long pull)
  • whats the difference?

  • oh right, i'm guessing the america one works better because the cables are mounted on top of each other, rather than sideways..

  • do you have one of those josh? I won one in manc but havent put it on yet...

  • nope, i only have a rear brake anywayss

  • whats the difference?

I've just taken one of these off, doesn't give enough pull for my liking. I always needed to give it a full handful to get any kind of braking.

    1. Jono (long pull)
    2. Emmet (long pull)
    3. Andy (long pull)

racing motor bikes have twin disks on the front with 4 or 6 pot pistons

    1. Jono (long pull)
    2. Emmet (long pull)
    3. Andy (long pull)
    4. Louis (long pull)
  • you had it set up for front and rear andy?

  • left and right.

  • ^dick. I just want to know whether it's worth me taking my odyssey lever off and fitting the double i won in manc, or if it's crap so not to bother. opinions?
