  • my limited experience using them is that they create more resistance, making them less effective and creating more strain on your hands. wouldnt bother.

  • i don't think it would compare with odyssey either, they're way better levers

    1. Jono (long pull)
    2. Emmet (long pull)
    3. Andy (long pull)
    4. Louis (long pull)
    5. dublinkevin (short pull)

  • one of these just found its way on to my rear wheel

  • ^dick. I just want to know whether it's worth me taking my odyssey lever off and fitting the double i won in manc, or if it's crap so not to bother. opinions?

From what I've seen of both, I'd also say stick with the Odyssey.

Sorry just taking my name off, sorted something else out.

  • upgrade:

    • 700x35 marathon plus in the back
    • 48h 5-laced front wheel, cheap hub and rim, but for free, thx again to the guys in bcn

  • The first batch of Lucky's double levers are all accounted for... he'll have more in a couple of months. (We'll try again for a group order then, if peeps are still interested.)

  • on friday I put together this lever, is just like Lucky's, same principle. Took a lot od time filing and adjusting, but finish very nicely
on saturday at polo people told me I should consider to sell them to peps over here, so after Jono said that Lucky's are all gone...
I will be selling this for £27, using a Shimano Deore lever, the one in the pics is one I was having at home.
let me know if there is any interest

  • Which Deore lever were you thinking rik? A long pull one?

  • dunno, this one... for V-brakes

  • Nice one, Rik. Keep shit local.

  • Sweet rik.

  • thats fucking great rik!

  • thanks guys, in the flesh looks better too

  • fantastico!

  • anyone got a 27.2 seatpost they want to part with???

  • Agh, if you'd have posted that last night Turd I could've stuck my old one in my bag for ya.
    We'll talk stem later.

  • my last frame was way too nice to use as a polo bike, only a tempory measure anyway. Here's the new one:

34X16 SS, 34X21 Fixed. Super short cranks, hills are hell.

  • nice. what length are the cranks? they don't look that short..

  • what was your other frame?

  • The cranks are 140mm I think, maybe 145, not sure, great for toe overlap and clearance but not so great for leverage. The other frame was a Graham Weigh 853 frame that I damaged the original forks in during a crash, now being built up (slowly) for it's intended purpose.
