  • Indeed, Luis played on his Decathalon frame for ages (even got a replacement when he broke it thanks to Decathalon's warranty policy).

  • tip from the old polo bike frames
if you can get the spacing behind the bottom brackit a bit wider to allow speed way tyres you will be able to play the frame on grass and allow for a slight buckle and any muck or dirt.

  • i don't think many people are interested in playing on the grass tbh. i tried it last year at the Oxford tourney (or was it Cabridge...) seemed pretty tame and boring.

  • you wernt playing hard enough then.

  • Does anyone have a crank puller i can borrow? Can collect tomorrow / Saturday ...

  • i have one i can take to work, so you could collect from cycle surgery hoborn. or I could bring to polo saturday

  • wish i could build frames.

wish you could design them too eh?

    HAHA! :)

  • Snoops, tomorrow from CS Holborn would be ace, thanks!

  • done.

I think grass polo is actually pretty knarly and anything but boring!

Also, I believe there's a lot us hardcourt polo players can learn from grass polo.

  • What's that program? Is it freeware?

    +word

  • haha well thats me shown then...
I just found it a bit to bumbly (i dont think that is a word, but you know, just bumbling along...), maybe due to being too hungover from the tourney the day before

  • There are great things that can be drawn from the two games you guys are have great bike control and and us grass polo we use the ball to work the area but the spacing behind the bottom brackit is for that you can have a spear set of wheels one set for grass and a other set for hard court.
the scotish lads use astro in the winter and its works for them so hard court is the best to train on if you ask me as it really make the passing so important and direct to the wheel.

  • So poloboy are you going to do a tourny in dublin?

  • Just been to Decathlon and they ahve a bike for £70 that is basically a ready to play polo bike, v-brakes, single speed with low gearing, looks pretty solid. can't find it on their website, but i'll try adn find the picture

Don't suppose you know the name of it? Decathlon website is shite. Might swing by if it's in the London one.
