Pellegini does have a point though. Yet again Barcelona have very favourable decisions go for them

Tonight for me the most important thing is to not concede early and from then to get to the Allianz arena at least level.
I think we could beat Bayern over one match, which needs to be our gameplan - going there and trying to score 3+ goals is just silly

just don't do what citeh did and show way too much respect. good luck tonight dude

We have to squeeze Phillip Lahm - he has been imperious this season but if we can get on top of him/out muscle him then that will be key.
There is a little bit of the 'stick it up 'em' mentality for me - get in there with the niggles and the kicks and disrupt their play. Then Isolating Dante and making him come out wide.
It's a shame we don't have Ramsey as he would have been perfect for getting on top of Lahm but I think Rosicky will probably fulfil this job tonight.
I'm nervous and excite,

Prole, thoughts on tonight?
Both teams unbeaten in more than 10 games, you've won your last 5 at home, we've run our last 5 away, something has to give. Think we should win, but would be happy with a point, leaving us 10 ahead of Derby in third...

Which part?
Out muscling the 5ft7 Lahm?
Disrupting their play means at least making tackles - the first leg last year, we stood off and watched them play around us - exactly like Citeh yesterday. Pressing them is I think the only way to succeed, their pass completion and short pass percentages are so high that they can quickly build up a rhythm - keeping them staccato is key.
Meh thinking too much into it I guess

Being short doesn't come in to it, I don't think have the players to disrupt the BM midfield.

LOLZ. Arsenal 'sticking it up em'.
Good one.

Prole...Derby in third
Go on Marky, tell it like it is.

Nurnberg got very close to doing it earlier in the season by playing a high press and focussing attention on Lahm - who struggled (comparatively).
I think we can do it. I have to, being a supporter and all!

wasn't going to, but thinking about watching the bayern/arsenal match?
thinking at the effra, or maybe that german pub zeitgeist?think I need Guardiola's bayern at least once, and this should be a good game to see them...
-
• #97719
So you can see them given the room to really express themselves?
-
• #97720
dst, its a win win, if bayern spank arsenal, all well and good, I get to see arsenal done over and have a look at a side on the up, nice combination of technical skill, speed and strength, or if arsenal get a result, can look forward to the hope being crushed out of them in the second leg...
fun times all around..

I'll be overjoyed with a draw, but I fancy you to win 3-1.
We have no midfield badically with Lansbury and Vaughan out with long-term injuries and Moussi doubtful. If Jack Hobbs and Lichah are both also out our defensive unit is shot too and our strikers have been patchy recently. Leicester are looking well oiled and you always trouble us down the wingers with Dyer and Knockaert *
*Getting my excuses in early

Ever the optimist.
Saturday is Boro Leeds at 12:15 on Sky (boycott newscorp ect ect) if you want to bring yourself back down to earth. Our resident fat lad Tomlin is getting his first run out. I'm excited, I hope you lot are.

What? Like winning trophies?
You know what, if they hadn't bottled it, that Keegan rant would be rolled out as "greatest inspiration speech eva".
