I think Rooney probably doesn't want to move, he has a young family and is settled in the area. Any money grabbing to elsewhere is only likely to mean major upheaval.
Anyway, he is probably banking on the management situation being sorted out pretty soonish if they don't make Europe at all.
Yeah, you can see him sitting down and ordering meal that doesn't include chips or beans in forrin language.

It's football. We put aside logic and reason and focus on the tribal. Suarez has, throughout his career, cheated and dived and his reputation is well deserved.
Most away fans still seem to consider Arsene Wenger to be a paedophile, despite there being no evidence to support this claim, and it all stemming from some ridiculous rumour nearly 20 years ago.
Not at all. I'm always disgusted by all the poison thrown at Wenger. I'd love to see the smarmy look on joses face if he were accused of something similar. 'it's just banter'. To be banter it needs to be funny. So many cowards in this world that that do not think for themselves or apply critical self reflection, all in the name of fitting in.
I totally get why he (LS) is hated hence the constant whingin but I've seen a mostly honest player this season yet for the majority it's not enough. What do you want?I think the best thing for him to do: Goto player of the season/golden boot award, get on stage coked up to fuck, penguin suit all sherbert stained, dickie bow all awry and give the following:

...replete with the stagger. Then he'll sign for the fascists after being pictured kissing our badge. Then I'll come here and get all sweary and sanctimonious. The end.

I think City were hard done by there.
Not a penalty, deffo a red but I think it was a foul on Navas beforehand.
I think City caused as many problems for Barca as Barca did for City.
An early goal is what they need.

You think? I think ibra was okay but as per usual he dips abit in form in February. This season and last he does still score during his "down time" but he isent at his best and looks sluggish.
That said he still does brilliant stuff on the pitch and the goal was obviously an incredible strike (he scores alot with his left lately!) and psg played very well tonight. Tbh i was more suprised how poor leverkusen was tonight than impressed with how good psg was. Bet the early goal dident help leverkusens plans tho.

Leverkusen haven't played well for the past 6 weeks - I knew that PSG would win but I didn't think Lever would have such a train wreck.
I thought he was at his impudent best tonight - perhaps not as outstanding as he has been but he is just simply my favourite player in world football

Was half watching the man city barca game. Barca didn't seem to produce much threat until the second half, there were moments of magic on the edge of the box as they probed for an opening, and once man city got flustered in defence and launched the ball out of the box, barca would regain possession and apply more pressure.
Think Kompany got it right in that Man City gave them too much respect in the early going, too much space and not closing down quickly enough. Penalty was iffy, Dimichelis tackles him just outside the box, but its pretty close, at first look I thought it was a penalty. Maybe defenders need to be told, if its a choice between conceding a goal, and making a tackle which 9/10 means a penalty and a red card, take conceding a goal.
City with ten men were more attacking, and aggressive, but they were always likely to lose the 2nd goal. Still think Barca would be better, have more options with an out and out striker, but what do I know. And Negredo needed to be better, to hold the ball, link play, to provide relief for his team...

@multi - to be as impartial on the Suarez issue as possible let's not try to paint him as bad guy turned good. He has done a fair bit of rolling around, diving etc this season. He just hasn't bitten anybody yet or racially insulted them so by his own standards he is certainly behaving better. The way he hit the deck when chamberlain hit him on Sunday was embarrassing and prevented liverpool from getting another penalty. In my opinion diving and rolling around rank higher than doping because they directly effect the outcome of the match. So that puts Suarez right at the top of a long list of cheats and he is going to have to do a lot more than bags. Load of class goals to change people's minds. He could start with not cheating and then at the acceptance speech he could apologise for biting, racism and diving and rolling and then walk off like a man.
Anyway would much rather hear about your recent good work

I see pelligrini has snapped. No point in being cool from August to February. The number one reason why Jose and fergie used to clean the board between them. They were both able to stay strong and their players could look at them and know they were leading the ship.
Jose throws out a couple of bread and butter psychological tricks from his lunch box and boom! Arsenal and city fall by the wayside. That leaves liverpool and Rogers to hold it together. Don't laugh too soon...this might be their year -

Fuck shhhhhhhhhhshhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Like I said. If we don't bottle it on our own accord and are still say within 3-6 points of Chelsea with a handful of games left then I will be intrigued to see what kind of games Thrushy tries with BR and how he deals with it.
Surely the best response would be like Dalglish when he retotrted that his 6 year old daughter talks more sense than the red faced one when he tried it on. As long as he doesn't do a Keegan or a Rafa -
