Is that like an Obafemi Martins kind of age?
(also 28 apparently. Lol)

dst, is that 28 is young, or 28 is old?
He's already had one failed bite of the cherry with Portsmouth, and if Leicester do make it up, I wonder if the owners will have a little faith or try to buy in a "top top top" striker to get them the goals they'll need to stay up.. -

Anyway... How did Spurs get on at the weekend?
According to Dembele* they were beaten by some small club.
*what a stroker!

They should consider Defoe.
-
• #90408
Who would you rather have as a lone striker, Defoe or Crouch?
-
• #90409
I'd probably have crouch. You can play it into his feet at first, whilst pretending to play in 'the right way', then when it all goes to shit lump it on to his 50p head and hope for the best.

Crouch scores a PL goal every 265 minutes and as we've established already Defoe scores a PL goal every 193 minutes.

What about the assists jaw, THE ASSISTS?

Twice as many assists (one in 5.4) so not all that.

and that quote that is always rolled out:
When asked: "What would you be if you weren't a footballer?" the Spurs star answered: "A virgin!"
defo Crouch.

Defoe Crouch.
Which managerial genius planned that forward line?
-
• #90416
having watched a lot of Crouch, as I mentioned alot during his tenure at spurs, for a big man, he's not that good in the air, the amount of aerial challenges he was muscled out of, good grief.
Where's Chalfie to rail against my insights with statistical analysis, proving that Crouch is a better header of a ball than anyone else playing striker in the premiership..
-
• #90417
Crouch is an awful headerer of the ball. It pings off in random directions. It's almost like no one ever taught him.

Do we think 'arry can even read the word 'statistic'?

Insights? Insights?
Jesus wept.Peter Crouch can't head a ball?
Fuck me, that took you a long time to work out.
He's the reincarnation of Ian Ormondroyd. -

Good grief, cutting insight...

He can read anything if it follows £££

^^ Ah. Snap
Next we'll find out that he has a decent touch for a big lad

The fans like him because he does work hard for the team and can turn games (Derby at home last season). This season he's been average and has scored 6 or 7 but all but one have come from the penalty spot. His work rate has dropped and Vardy is doing much more for the team. Our goals tend to come from midfield anyway - King, Drinkwater, Dyer.
I still like Nugent though. Vince wrote to him last season (age 8) and said, if he sent him an autograph, he'd send him one back when he plays for Leicester. Got an autograph and a nice note from him.
I'm glad someone noticed it...
