BREAKING NEWS
Good:
Hansen to retire from MotDBad:
Not until 2014So we still have to hear his weekly exclamation o:f "och, they were wide open at the back, where was the last man?"
As well as: "inexcusable, absolutely inexcusable..."

I can't see what the problem is with Hans......
Oh hang on, he's linked to LFC isn't he?
I get it now, sorry.

looks like he can play a killer ball to the right corner flag
If he was in your team, those passes would be to your clubs newest winger - right?
-
• #88183
I really like Ozil never looks flustered on the ball and one of thoes player s who look as if they play the game walking.
great signig for Arsenal but doesn't answer the problems for a bit of bite and steel. Aparently Ozil has been at the top of the assist tree for the last 4 seasons in Europe, that is quite an achievement. -

More unearthing of what happened to Man U on transfer deadline day
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/sep/04/manchester-united-ander-herrera-transfer-farce
in relation to Ozil
"United are taken aback, for example, by the latest suggestion they challenged Arsenal for Mesut Ozil. The truth is that United and Manchester City were both offered the player three weeks ago. United turned it down because they had already made up their mind that Wayne Rooney would not be leaving and they did not want to break their transfer record, paying upwards of £40m, for someone who plays in the same position."

^^^^^true but when he's competing against the pass it to messi boys up the road its still quite surprising.
I still find it surprising that Unt didnt want improve there squad with Ozil,
-

I'm not. Moyes is anti-football.

I wondered about that, but he also creates loads of unconverted chances, so with Giroud in fron of him expect that to continue,,,

Corny Im not going to knock you for reading the Guardian, I read this last night and was just left thinking - who the fuck is this guy? Does he work on the strategy/transfer team at united and Citeh? There are zero direct quotes but he talks as if he knows everything for fact. Stinks of shit to me!
Although, plenty of it is probably correct - I do not think Ozil was being offered around like a mini topic bar.

Daniel Taylor is a grade A bellend. And a Notts Forest fan to boot.
United wouldn't be allowed to buy someone for £42m without selling Rooney first, they just don't have the budget these days......

FYI
Giroud has pretty much the same finishing stats as Ronaldo. Roughly a goal every 3 shots on goal.
Im not saying Girouds stats are great but I do think he is a good finisher, so is Poldi.
And Ozil and Cazorla hopefully will create a partnership of assists as good as Mata and Hazard last season. There are a few teams who look like the could have great assist partnerships:
Cazorla & Ozil
Navas, Silva & Nasri
Coutinho & Suarez
Hazard, Mata, Willian & Schuurle
Lamela & Eriksen -

Don't laugh dicki. The right corner flag was their 4th highest scorer last year.
