We might need him at this rate! I hate to say it but it doesn't take too many injuries for a Bendtner recall to be necessary...
Ah man, I wouldn't even wish that on you guys!

Victor Moses going back to Palace, having medical today
Nice way to waste 4yrs of your life
I've got immense respect for Victor Moses both as a footballer and a human being. You can't criticise his commitment, effort and his willingness to learn. He's a useful squad player at Chelsea and I reckon he would be an asset for any team in the premier league. I agree with you that he would be wasted at Palace as he could do much, much better than them. Winning the Europa League and ACN has hardly been a waste of time.

I mean he's an experienced Premiership striker, who scored 22 goals last season, and has the odd moment of skill.
His 34 goals in 122 games for Chelsea is not great, but he seems to be improving again, after that slump of a few years.
Put down the crack pipe, John H. he is a busted flush. His knees are fucked. Due to his astro wages they can't give him away. He went the same way as Owen. Fucked us only see they were the best years of his life.

9 League Champions, 5 FA Cups and 1 Cup Winner's Cup = 15
Anything else in the cabinet you'd count?

Like I said, he's found his level. Bolton, Liverpool, there wasn't that much between them at the time. Man City or Chelsea or 2 streets ahead. Expectations at a club like Liverpool are a lot lower than they are at the likes of Chelsea and Man City, these days anyway.
If he scores on a regular basis at LFC than it's a bonus. If he did it at City or Chelsea than it would have been expected.

European footballer of the year '07! Though potentially past his best now, I still reckon he'd be an improvement on your midfield. No offense.

I'm being dead serious. Just face the music. Regardless of how well a club has performed in the past it's the past 3 seasons that are the best indicators of where a club is going.

Past 3 seasons? Say that to a Leeds fan just before their CL semi final

Wenger going on a moan about how players prices and representative of them. Saying its the spending power of the clubs rather than the quality of the player. Agree with this, players aren't better now than 5 years ago but there is more money in the game.
Still
Gomez, Villa, Capoue, Leo Baptistao, Aubeameyang, Sokratis, RVW, Fer, Maher, Strootman, Ljajic, Eriksen, Bony, Navas - there is a massive list of players going for non astronomical amounts, that would improve our squad in the right areas, yet he seems blissfully unaware of this...

What was that message Abramohvic left at teh start of the season? It's been a fantaasstic journey and it couldn't have been done without you?

@ MG - Roman has been a far more stable owner than the Yanks at Anfield. Regardless of the number of managerial appointments, he's backed the club up to the hilt.
Secondly, SB real estate value would be significantly higher than most other grounds in the country as it's in a very desirable location e.g. not a rough as old boots council estate. SB is also in ok nick but the club recognise that if they want to increase revenues than they would have to move on. Lastly - if Roman ever sells up he would leave the club in rude health with very little debt. He would also recoup a significant amount of money and I doubt it that he'll lose any sleep over the few hundred million that he's lost.

Yet he still scored 22 goals last season.
We all know he's fucked. At the right price, and right wages he's still an option.

Anyone that thinks that Roman wasn't the start and the cause of modern day football being fucked then they need to give their head a wobble
The Premiership being formed in '92, Sky and him...all in that order have bred a plethora of helmets who can pick and choose their allegiances based on who's got the most money. It's fucked, has been for years and I'd be equally happy(well not quite) watching Conference football
