I mean he's an experienced Premiership striker, who scored 22 goals last season, and has the odd moment of skill.
His 34 goals in 122 games for Chelsea is not great, but he seems to be improving again, after that slump of a few years.

Bale to Real Madrid is a done deal
Just had this confirmed to me by someone working on the financial side of the transfer. Not exactly an amazing scoop as everyone knows the deal will happen soon.
What was a little more interesting though is that Real have already agreed the biggest contract in World Football with Ronaldo. The only reason they haven't announced it yet is that CR wants to wait until the hype and hoopla about Bale's World Record transfer is over. Then he will take back the limelight with the reveal of his World Record contract that puts him publicly back in his position as Top Dog in Madrid.
Egos, eh!

he did well at bolton, your mob shifted him to a position where he didn't get to dance.. he's scoring at a very good rate for us.
Like I said, he's found his level. Bolton, Liverpool, there wasn't that much between them at the time. Man City or Chelsea or 2 streets ahead. Expectations at a club like Liverpool are a lot lower than they are at the likes of Chelsea and Man City, these days anyway.
If he scores on a regular basis at LFC than it's a bonus. If he did it at City or Chelsea than it would have been expected.

We might need him at this rate! I hate to say it but it doesn't take too many injuries for a Bendtner recall to be necessary...

Man City have never been, or never will be a club that people take note of or reference in any era of football. Dennis Law goal at the Stretford End aside, remind me what City have done again?

@nesbit was just coming here to post that kaka to Liverpool tidbit.
Would they need him? Could be and Coutinho coexist? Could they afford his wages? He's only 31 so he's got another what 5/6 years in him, and it would be glorious to see him in the prem..He's super expensive, so that would be the first stumbling block, I guess. Don't think he'd take a wage cut to go to Liverpool. And then there's the question of match fitness.
